Place was clean and had shared kitchen facilities, kind staff, and clean bathrooms with very nice design (seriously impressed me). Love that it had a pool though it was small (not at all a problem, just nice for a dip), very close to shopping & tour meetup locations, and close to bus/trains though IGNORE GOOGLE MAPS to walk here - it likes to take you up stairs & down big hills etc).

Great location and provided a few free breakfast options. Triple room is basic but has everything you need. Bathrooms are clean but did have to wait as there were only 2 Felt very safe and allowed luggage storage for free. Would come back!

We did have a few issues however the property did everything it could to make good on these issues. The location is fantastic, very close to Central Station and the centre of the city. The property has some lovely outdoor areas to relax in and has been tastefully renovated as well. Staff were nice and helpful, would definitely stay again!

Wonderful pod type sleeping cells with plenty of storage. Staff are great, however i get the sense that since many guests are short term there is less uegency and priority to helping resolve issues between guests. For example enforcing quiet hours in rooms (i LOVE the quiet hours policy great hours chosen). Facilities fairly clean although shower needs love and there was a queue for accessible shower. Finally, premises fairly clean, but i got influenza from staying at this hostel (and i have stayed in MANY hostels with no issues) but that is more about other guests than the hostel itself. Staff good and attentive at all hours. I didnt visit bar / restaurant so i cannot review that aspect.

Nice for a night

Cool place, and has some really nice features like free breakfast and an outdoor gym and pool, but the kitchen was very small and crowded in the evening and we saw our first cockroach of Australia (this is the 5th place we’ve stayed at). It’s in a very good location for the CBD, and can get the airport train easily so was perfect for our last night in Brisbane

I had a truly outstanding experience at this hostel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the facilities surpassed expectations featuring a pool, gym, and a different engaging event each night. Remarkably, despite the vibrant atmosphere, the rooms remained completely quiet, ensuring a restful sleep. The breakfast alone was extraordinary, easily one of the best I’ve encountered while traveling. I genuinely can’t wait to find an excuse to return to Brisbane just to spend another night here. Highly recommended.

Great hostel for exploring Australia

Great hostel, very clean and well presented. Rooms are modern and have USB c wall ports. Bathrooms are nice and have two showers and two toilet cubicles. Only complaint would be that the water temperature fluctuates constantly, it’s hard to find a balance where it doesn’t scald you or freeze you to death. Staff are amazing and are very accommodating and it’s rare to find a hostel having 24hr service. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and good quality. Thank you for a great stay :)

Great place to stay, very close to central station and the breakfast was a nice bonus. Rooms were nice. The only issue is that each pod only has 1 USB port and no outlet which makes charging devices very inconvenient. However, this is a minor issue and it was a nice stay overall.

A nice simple stay in a nice city. A bit over crowded at times in the sharing facilities due to size. Bathroom thou shared were kept clean to most part and bed and air conditioning were in good condition and quality. Hostel also felt safe and secure and noise was minimal after 10pm

The staff were wonderful. I commend the way they dealt with an issue with another guest who took over my bed on the second night. I was appalled by the behaviour of these room mates, but they were dealt with quite well.

Good place to sleep

Good service, room was clean, facilities were fine. Not really anything else in the room besides the bed itself. Perfectly good place to stay if you just need somewhere to sleep. Would recommend.

Nice staff, and facility is clean. Only drawback was noise. Groups in courtyard broke up not long after 10pm curfew, but air con units(?), generator (?)took their place. This is a hostel so definitely not bad for what it is, but take ear plugs, ;)

A great location within walking distance to Central Station and the CBD. Very clean. Basic rooms but all that you need for a short stay. Steps an issue with heavy bags and quite noisy at night but we were there for a sporting event and that may have contributed to the noise factor. Very friendly and welcoming staff. It’s essentially a hostel - not sure that was clear in the listing.

From the moment you arrive here at YHA always greeted by the most amazing, beautiful people who are ALL fabulous with a warm welcome, smiles & SO helpful! The service is superb! The location is sensational! SO central to all that you could possibly need here in our most amazing City! Beautiful Brisie is shining bright always ! Even more so now after our local footy legend wins making us all proud. We have Olympic Games approaching, which will be FANTASTIC for us all! I was blessed to be living on the stunning Sydney Harbour, for 2000. YHA is the perfect spot for ‘32! Centred to the Iconic Lang Park, the Gabba & Victoria Park, the Venue for ‘32! You can be to ANY in 5 minutes! Transport is excellent! It’s SAFE her! Close by beautiful the City Shopping, just a short leisurely stroll. FABULOUS Dining Options to cater for ALL tastes & Cuisines! Sensational! Our stunning beaches & countryside. Beautiful Wineries in Stanthorpe Region. The Lockyer Valley Farms. This City & YHA have it all! YHA facilities are AMAZING L! From the spacious, clean, quiet rooms, catering for ALL your needs. The rooftop community kitchen & the terrace with views that will leave you breathless & wanting more & not wanting to leave!
