In cross-country skiing enthusiasts not get bored - the entrance to the extensive trail network is also the same in our homes. In Ehrwald family you have free entrance as guests of our house.
Those who prefer a cozy, trudges on snowshoes through the winter wonderland, or a payload of cleared winter hiking trails around the surrounding area to explore.

Our Ferienhaus Schmittenhof is located in sunny and quiet location. Surrounded by forests and meadows, which are managed by ourselves. Holiday home in rural area
Anno Tyrol is an old characteristic holiday home. It is located on a main road. There is no sheltered terrace. From the house you can quickly pick up walking routes. Ideal when you are on holiday with your dog. The house is less ideal for two separate families in terms of bedroom layout. You also have to take into account the fact that there is only 1 toilet and that it is in the bathroom. The holiday home is directly adjacent to another house, which is currently empty due to renovation. The appearance is therefore less attractive.The kitchen layout is optimal! The hostess is very friendly and helpful.
Wir waren im Winter hier zum Skifahren. Die Anbindung zu den Skigebieten ist ausgezeichnet. Das Haus war ideal für eine Familie plus Großeltern. Super ausgestattet und sauber. Die Straße vor dem Haus haben wir fast nicht wahrgenommen. In unmittelbarer Nähe gab es schöne Wege zum spazieren gehen mit dem Hund. Wir kommen gern wieder.
Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sauber und die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und nett. Die Umgebung ist schön, besonders der Blindsee.Wir sind an den Eibsee gefahren und sind in der Gegend gewandert Höllentalklamm, Partnachklamm und die Zugspitze.
Mooi huis, schoon, fijne ontvangst, alles aanwezig, voldoende ruimte. Ligging is erg centraal, wel is de tuin langs een weg, dus hoor je de auto's langs komen. Het uitzicht is geweldig, je kijkt zo op de Zugenspitze. Broodjes kan je 5 minuten lopen halen bij een minimarket.
We hebben heel veel gedaan en alles binnen een half uur of minder rijden met de auto. De Erhwalderbahn is vlakbij en daar kan he prachtige wandelingen maken. De Highline179 is een bijzondere belevenis, Rosengartenslucht in Imst is een aanrader als je van watervallen en een ruige wandeling houdt. We hebben een top vakantie gehad in een mooi huis waar alles aanwezig was.

Sehr freundliche Vermieter, allerdings eine Durchgangsstraße direkt vor dem Haus, so dass man sich nicht vor 20h sich draußen hinsetzen wollte. Die Schlafzimmer sind sehr dunkel, da es sich um ein altes Haus handelt. Die Umgebung ist fantastisch. Haus sehr sauber und es war sonst alles vorhanden.Schönes Bad.

Sehr nette Vermieter,
Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt.
Das alte Haus wurde sehr schön hergerichtet hat aber seinen urigen Charakter behalten.
Die Küche war super ausgestattet.
Sehr großzügige und saubere Zimmer.
Der perfekte Ort für Wanderurlaub mit Familie oder Freunden.
Olivia har været en meget sød og hjælpsom vært. Huset er fint istandsat og med en lille have foran. Huset er ret køligt. Vi sov i et dejligt værelse på 1. Salen. Værelset i stueetagen er lidt fugtigt om sommeren, når der ikke er varme på. Badeværelset er meget flot med fin stor brusekabine og stort badekar. Området er meget smukt og med mange muligheder for vandre- og cykelture. Der er friluftsbad i Leermos 5 km væk. Vi kommer gerne igen.
Das Haus war sehr schön, sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Gastegberin war super freundlich und der Check-In und Check-Out Vorgang unkompliziert. Die Lage ist perfekt zum Skifahren und alles schnell erreichbar. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit mit Freunden (6 Personen) und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder, 1 Hund) haben uns in dem Haus von Anfang an komplett Wohl gefühlt. Check In war unkompliziert. Das Haus ist eine tolle Mischung aus modernen und urigem Bauernhaus.
-Küche: wirklich perfekt ausgestattet mit allem, was man benötigt, um auch selbst kochen zu können
-Bad: wunderschönes, modernes Bad mit großer Wanne und großer Dusche
-Stube: liebevoll eingerichtet in einem schönen restauriertem Ambiente
- Schlafzimmer: Betten war für uns prima - ein Schlafzimmer ist ein Durchgangszimmer. Unsere Jungs wollten unbedingt in dem hinteren Zimmer/ Kammer schlafen
-Umgebung: wir fanden Biberwier toll - gerade, weil es nicht so sehr überlaufen war mit Touristen (zumindest Mitte Oktober) und eher ländlich ist. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für Lebensmittel und morgens Brötchen sind 5 Minuten entfernt mit einem kleinen Supermarkt. Das Haus war auch Ausgangspunkt für wunderschöne Wanderungen. Nach Ehrwald (Zugspitzbahn) sind es nur ca 5km. Einzig die Straße vor dem Haus könnte den ein oder anderen stören, was für uns aber kein Problem darstellte.
- Vermieterin: Kommunikation mit Frau Wörz war problemlos über Whatsapp möglich. Sie war sehr nett und hätte für mögliche Fragen/ Probleme zeitnah zur Verfügung gestanden (sie wohnt nicht weit entfernt vom Ferienhaus)
Fazit: Es ist ein besonderes Haus! Eine perfekte Mischung aus Alt und Modern, was sehr liebevoll eingerichtet ist. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und versuchen im nächsten Jahr erneut das Haus zu buchen.

Liebevoll renoviertes altes Bauernhaus in schöner Lage
Schönes altes Bauernhaus mit Charme, das auf liebevolle Art renoviert und eingerichtet wurde. Einkaufsmöglichkeit und reichlich Restaurants in der Nähe. Sehr freundliche Vermieterin, die sich schnell und zuverlässig kümmert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Das Haus ist ein absolutes Unikat und mit sehr viel Bedacht und Liebe saniert und eingerichtet worden. Wir haben uns darin sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt, die Betten sind super.
Einzig die Lage an direkt an der Straße war für uns nicht so optimal. Wenn man Ruhe sucht, ist dies möglicherweise nicht der ideale Platz.
Vielen Dank an Familie Wörz für die schönen Tage in der stilechten Tiroler Unterkunft mit viel Platz und Gemütlichkeit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung, insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.
Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung mit netten Vermieter. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen und würden jederzeit auch wieder hinfahren. Sollten mehrere Familien, die Fewo anmieten, sollte man wissen, dass ein Schlafzimmer ein Durchgangszimmer ist.

Old Austrian farmhouse style house
Booking was really easy. Olivia communicates well by e-mail and answers queries quickly.
We had a really late arrival at the property which went really smoothly as arranged by Olivia.
The house is very large. The living area is warm and cosy with a sofa and a seating area if you want to eat there.
The kitchen is very well equiped so there were no problems with cooking for 5. It has a seating area for 6/7 and enough cutlery and crockery to ensure you don't have to switch on the dishwasher between meals.
The bathroom is downstairs and has a very large shower and a corner bath with a shower head over it. It worked really well for us as a family of 4 plus family friend. An extra toilet/shower area would be nice but we had no problems as we could bath/shower the kids at the same time reducing the amount of bathroom time needed. There is an extra electric heater for cold days.
The back corridor used for recycling/rubbish area would be nice as a boot/ski room or an extra bothroom area.
Upstairs there is a very large double bedroom. The beds are really comfortable and there are views over the mountains towards Lermoos. The second bedroom is actually conjoined to the master bedroom by a door and steps This means if people sleeping in this room need to go to the toilet in the night they need to walk through the master bedroom. We had no problem with this and my friend did not mind sharing a bedroom with our kids. The stairs however are very creaky!
It is ideally situated for skiing in the whole of the Zugspitze area.
Olivia is very helpful and friendly and close enough to help should any problems arise

Modern, Rustic Alpine Retreat
Our family of five (including 3 college boys) just returned from a week at Anno Tyrol. First the good points: The apartment was well-located, a few minutes to Ehrwald, Lermoos, and Fernpass. The beds were comfortable and rooms were large. The kitchen was well-furnished and had everything that we needed to make a meals at home. However, most pans had enamal chips in the bottom and should probably be replaced. Plenty of nice, fluffy towels were provided. Huge, modern bathroom with large tub and shower. Plenty of hot water. Nicely decorated.
Now for the disappointing points: The VRBO listing said:
"Bathrooms: 2 Bathrooms
: toilet, tub, shower
: toilet, shower
Bathtub, shower, WC, hair dryer, hand and bath towels available"
Unfortunately for us, there was only one bathroom. We would have never booked a place with one bathroom for five adults. When I mentioned this to Olivia, she said that the other bathroom was in the other rental unit. She did apologize and said that she would follow up with VRBO to try to clarify this. Although it presented some challenges for us and affected our comfort, the bathroom was very large and there was plenty of room for everyone to put all of their things. Next negative point: The only way to enter one of the bedrooms is through the other bedroom. This was not mentioned anywhere. I told Olivia that this was a problem. Again, we would have never booked an apartment that would require our three grown boys to walk through our bedroom to access their bedroom. She apologized and said that she would try to clarify this on VRBO.
Both bedrooms are upstairs. The bathroom is downstairs. There is a sitting room with a sofa and dining table. There is some sort of a non-functional fireplace/oven in this room. This room and kitchen are accessed separately from the entrance hall (they don't connect) and the bathroom is off the kitchen. The stairs are VERY creaky.
Even though this apartment did not work out real well for our family, it is clean and would be comfortable for a family with young children. We did think that it was a bit expensive. We stay in this area several times a year. The extra charge of 27 euro per day for our son who decided to join us is the most that we've ever paid. We also paid a 5 euro a day pet fee for our small dog along with an extra 10 euro cleaning fee for the dog. All the extra charges caused the price to be quite high in comparison to what we usually pay.
