This is an old, run-down property. Many amateur repairs - toilet paper stuffed into holes in walls, cracks over-filled with foam, lots and lots of caulk around shower stall. "Clean enough." A bit noisy. Convenient location and right on the 'historic canal trail' walking path

It was safe, clean and updated. Not glamorous or special, but it satisfied the basic needs. Designated parking is a plus but the lot is pretty tight. Management was very helpful as I considered extending my stay. The city itself is high-priced so the room is likely on target in this market, but for me it felt like a pretty steep price for what you get. I'd stay again.

Cockroaches! Booked the family room with kitchen. Seemed clean, despite the room still being under renovation. The mini fridge didn’t work. My daughter woke up to cockroaches crawling on her, some were running across the room. Talked with the owners the wife was upset didn’t want to hear it. The husband acknowledged that there were cockroaches. They refused to reimburse us our second night. On another note you can hear all the noise from the road, other guest, and laundry. At Do not book here!!

Best of home motel

I was pleasantly surprised at this smaller mom and pop Motel. It had many of the comforts of home. It was very clean and little unexpected amenities, such as printed sheets, and bedspread. I really had one of the most comfortable, sleep filled nights at this quiet, but great little motel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I came very late, but they quickly helped me settle in. I would recommend this to anyone over one of the big chain hotels.

The room was exactly as described. It was clean, comfortable, and the staff was very responsive. There was a weather-related situation and the whole family was there to take care of it! We would definitely go back there again.

The room was discussing dirty, the air conditioner was broke and when I turned it off I could hear the rats and mice in the walls. The ground was so dirty that I how do I choose the entire time I was in my room.

This is ONE OF THE BEST mom and pop businesses. They are friendly, efficient, and it felt like a home away from home. The linens on the bed smelled amazing and the room was clean and spacious! Woke up to a very light sunlight from the kitchen area and the slightest sound of birds chirping like what youd see in a movie. The morning coffee tastes amazing, not like the cheap bulk stuff at chain hotels. 10/10 would stay again, any time!
