The room was clean and satisfactory for budget accommodation. The restaurant was very good. There was an inside restaurant and an outside undercover restaurant with outside bar and a large screen for watching sport and music played throughout the area. The staff were friendly and approachable and nothing was too much effort.

Lovely stay, your average pub accomodation. The shared bathrooms are clean and well kept. The only thing we didn’t love was that the bin in the room was small so we needed to find a bin outside to get rid of our rubbish. Other then that we loved it!

Very basic accommodation. No tea or coffee facilities in room. Shared bathroom was clean but no mirror for shaving etc. Pillows old and uncomfortable. Food was excellent but wait staff seemed uninterested in giving service.

Historical building but well maintained. Old style room with shared bathroom but good price for what it is. Bar and restaurants downstairs with the beer garden. The checkin was slow and got some confusion but the manager got us an upgrade, well managed. 20 mins drive to Hunter garden, 15-20 mins drive to all wineries

It is simple but nice - no heating unless you ask but it is very clean and tidy and full of history. Great service. We had breakfast and dinner all in the hotel ( good food and choices) and there was a fantastic band. - We'll be back!

Comfortable stay.

Stayed at Bellbird for one night in an ensuite room. Very spacious both bedroom and ensuite which was newly renovated. Split air-conditioning plus ceiling fan. No coffee or tea facilities.We arrived as they were replacing old mattressess for new. Daughter stayed in shared bathroom which was also recently renovated.

Rooms Need Help!!

With the cost of the room quite cheap I was not expecting the Hilton but other than the linen the room was dirty , the carpet smelt and was in some disrepair. Breakfast buffet was left over weekend with stale bread and dirty glasses that guests had left. It’s a shame because downstairs the food and staff were really good but note to the owner, shut the rooms down or refurbish as it’s doing the rest of your business a disservice.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and modern. A shaving mirror in the men's bathroom would be helpful. Extra hooks in the bathrooms would be great. Very good value.

Cheap and Cheerful Stay

We were after a cheap but cheerful hotel for the night as we were attending an event early in the morning. The Bellbird Hotel was just that. Excellent place to stay. we will return.
