Really authentic hotel, staff were really lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Evening music and attentive staff made the experience really relaxing
The room is cleaned daily and very close to shopping. The people are very friendly and helpful. Yet the beds are super hard. It has mattress but the hardest one. The breakfast does not worth the price. You may just walk out to the nearby market to have authentic Chinese breakfast at the fraction of the price.
This hotel was a gem. We arrived in the late evening and while they worked through some details with our 144-hour transit visas, we were given fresh-brewed tea, fruits, and nuts. We were tired when we first arrived, but their hospitality was refreshing and it continued for our whole stay.
The courtyard koi pond, birds, other mini ponds (complete with Axolotl!) were so nice. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety.
They leant us bicycles and helped make our stay in Beijing truly memorable.
This place was so cool. The Hutongs are really neat neighborhoods in Beijing and our part (the hotel nestled within) did not disappoint!
I wish I remembered all their names, we especially want to thank Estrella, Wang Shi?, and a few other ladies who we often interacted with, one even brought watermelon for us on an hot day. Everyone was amazing. Thank you!
We highly recommend this place and hope to stay there again.
