Amazing view

The Hotel is clean and well looked after. The garden is beautiful and the views is just amazing. Would be nicer should the Hotel offers more choice of breakfast item. We will certainly come back & would recommend friends.

Slightly out-of-the-way from interlocking, but worth the trip, magnificent views. Fantastic staff breakfast was included. Please note there is no laundry service here as the website says.

The staff was excellent! Property is located about 20 mins from Interlaken. There are not many places to eat near by, you would have to go to Interlaken. The shower stall was very small! Otherwise it gave the cabin type experience. Breakfast was good.

Our family of five stayed at Beatenberg Hotel & Spa for five nights, and overall it was an excellent experience that we would happily repeat. Originally, we had booked a Family Suite via Expedia that could accommodate all five of us. As a precaution, we contacted the hotel directly prior to arrival, only to be informed that the reservation details from Expedia had not been properly transmitted and that the Family Suite could not be secured. Since the stay had already been prepaid, this was obviously concerning. What truly impressed us was how the hotel handled the situation. After discussing the matter directly with the hotel team, they kindly offered an alternative solution: two Junior Suites, secured side by side, entirely as a gesture of goodwill. This proactive and considerate response immediately reassured us. Both Junior Suites featured private balconies with stunning panoramic views, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and immaculately maintained. While we were not all able to stay in a single room as originally planned, the quality of the accommodation and the thoughtful arrangement more than compensated for it. The children loved having space, and the views alone made each morning memorable. Thanks to the hotel’s professionalism and genuine hospitality, we enjoyed a thoroughly relaxing and satisfying five-night stay. For us, this experience demonstrated what excellent service truly means. We would very much like to return with our family again in future.

The location of the property is quiet and have a good scene in the room which can see the lake and the snow mountains. Also it is very easy to park the car. The town is very quiet with very few tourist. If you expect to walk to a tour area in downtown, this hotel is not the right location. It is under new owner and management, there are still many areas need to be improved. The room does not have AC.

What A View!

I usually try to stay close to whatever transport hub I’m using. But the were no rooms available in Interlaken, so I had to look further afield and happened upon a gem I would never have expected to find. Set on the mountain side with a view of Lake Thun and the Jungfrau mountains right there in front of your own private balcony. An amazing view. The room was compact but very clean. My only quibble was that bed had a footboard which is always a problem for tall people. The bus stop is right outside the front door in both directions and a free pass is provided by the hotel for local travel during your stay.

Quiet and friendly

This mountain property was fun to visit. It was a few minutes drive outside of Interlaken. We were welcomed by the property manager and personally shown all the amenities. The view from the property overlooking the valley was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast spread was great.

Disappointed

highly disappointing and unacceptable experience during my recent stay at your hotel. I booked two rooms for two nights from , but due to issues with the rooms, my family members were only able to use one room on the first night, resulting in significant inconvenience and discomfort. Upon returning to the hotel in the evening, we found one room inaccessible. Despite multiple attempts to contact staff via phone and visiting the front desk, no assistance was provided. As a result, two members of our family were forced to sleep on the cold floor of the single accessible room. The room only had supplies sufficient for two people, with no additional blankets, heating devices, or any provisions for warmth, leading to physical discomfort and illness. This situation was utterly unacceptable. The following morning, I contacted a staff member at the front desk, who assisted in replacing the room keys, allowing us to access the room . As we were only able to use one room on the first night, I requested a refund for the unused room. The staff informed me that he would escalate the matter to the manager and that I would receive a resolution by the next morning. However, on the day of checkout, I followed up with another staff member, Ana, who claimed there was no record of the incident and was completely unaware of the situation.
