Loved the Factory hotel, we stayed in a charming artist-designed room with the most comfortable sheets and pillows. Part of the Dutchess Inn but in a separate building next door, we loved the rooftop deck and the beautiful sunset over the Hudson. Wonderful service and right on Main Street for easy strolling through Town.

Absolutely loved this property. The staff was wonderful as well. However, the walls were paper thin and the bed was insanely soft so keep that in mind when planning your visit.

The Factory is interesting. It is really more like an Airbnb right next to a hotel . So all the amenities of a hotel and the independence of an Airbnb . Alex and Meghan AMAZING!! They made me feel so welcome . Beacon is really sweet and make a reservation at Moreish for high tea . Weekends are the way go in Beacon .

The stay in the Sophia Suite at The Factory Hotel was outstanding! The custom King Bed and soaking tub were perfect for relaxing. The design details were stunning, and the bathroom was just as luxurious. The staff was beyond amazing, and the owner even left a thoughtful welcome gift to celebrate our special occasion. It was such a memorable and luxurious stay—I highly recommend it!

Hudson Valley roadtrip.

The Factory feels very new and fresh. Great location for exploring Main Street. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was a little small, but, had everything we needed. Very comfortable bed and wood floors! I would recommend.

I arrived late at night and the owner herself stayed at the front desk to make sure I arrived safely. I had a lot of luggage so she even switched me to a more easily accessible room. She and her staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful.

All the vintage beauty mixed with modern technology and comfort.Suitable for a small family, beautiful interior design, bed was so comfortable, even the sheets felt great. Lovely outdoor common area, all in the heart of the delightful village of Beacon, right on Main Street!

Perfect location for a weekend break (or longer) in beautiful Beacon. Walkable from the train station, to all the shops, bars and restaurants along the Main St, and to Dia Beacon museum. Staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Rooms have high ceilings, comfy beds and lots of personality and art. Stylish bathroom. Coffee, tea and board games provided in common areas.

Simple modern vibe within walking distance to all.

The modern simple vibe of the room we had was just what we needed and nothing more. Check in at the Beacon Inn and Spa was easy and they escorted us right to our room which was in the building next door. There is no dedicated parking but we had no problem parking in the free lots as well as on the street overnight. The coffee/tea station is in the hall not in the room, but that didn’t bother us. There also had a courtyard with games and yoga mats to borrow. The mattress was super soft, may not be good for some backs. The room was spotless.

Not Great for Sleeping

Laughably soft, unsupportive mattress, completely unacceptable for a new hotel. Would not recommend staying here if you care about mattress quality at all or can't sleep on cheap, soft mattresses. Felt like sleeping on a plushy bean bag. The A/C for our room was in the entrance area, so the bed area was a bit warm. Maybe the chinese dragon kite (?) that was mounted to ceiling for some reason was blocking airflow. Weird, campy, sort of cringe vibe in the room. Not for us. The front desk folks were super nice and helpful. A+, 10/10 to them. No daily service for a proper hotel is wild work.

What a fun place to stay while driving home through Nee York! Every room has a theme. Our room’s theme is message in a bottle and there is a typewriter for us to leave a message that McCann be added to a bottle. The room is clean and modern and right on Main Street with easy walking to shops and restaurants. Parking wasn’t bad for us on a Monday in November, but I suspect parking might be really annoying in the busy seasons. Street parking or municipal lot parking are the two options! BUT, location, location, location!!!! I will stay here for sure the next time we visit Beacon!
