The Dutchess Inn and Spa is located perfectly at a nice, quiet section of a wonderful street with so many places to eat, visit and get involved with. The next visit here, we will stop at the Farmers Market and go hiking. Wonderful!

Very nice property that is very well maintained. The private room was small but adequate and the large windows brought in great natural light. The public spaces on the upper level were great, especially the rooftop terrace with gas fire pits and wonderful views. It was nice to enjoy coffee outside on the porch in the morning and an after dinner drink in the evening on the rooftop terrace.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel

The staff was excellent. No parking; you will have to park in a public lot. Place was clean and very quaint. It was also quiet. The was no bathtub and the water pressure in the shower was nonexistent. My daughters and I enjoyed it very much!

I spent one night at the Dutchess Inn. The location is excellent, right on the Main Street in Beacon walkable to shops and dining. The room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was small but nice amenities. The sink was outside the bathroom. There is a rooftop sitting area but no bar or food is available.

We had an incredible stay at Dutchess Inn. The staff was very pleasant and accomodating. They were able to get us into a larger room because our room was flooded with no extra charge. The hotel was very cute and highly recommend for any couples. The massage was OK in my opinion. It was not worth the money we spent. However the $40 for the hour in the spa was really nice. The room was very cute and clean and I really liked the whole vibe of the hotel.

I dont believe the place is good value for its very high prices. it tries to be warm and meditative and serene, but it doesnt quite get there. for the prices they charge, i would not recommend it. there are charges for late arrival, the room did not have a desk chair. the water pressure on the shower was low. there was no bathtub. instead of a window, there were these weird blocks of glass. they couldnt get it together to have ready made coffee in the morning. instead of that, a do it yourself Keurig machine. not the spa atmosphere they go for. at these prices, i would not go back. having said that, the location is great and the beds were comfortable and the staff tries hard.

This was our second time in this hotel. The first time the experience was excellent so we rebooked. But now they have a recently opened,nearly adjacent, Annex in a repurposed textile factory. This was much less pleasant. First, there was no elevator so you have to go up 21 steps, not easy if you have heavy luggage. Moreover, when booking there was no notice about no elevator to the room. The interior decoration of the room is industrial chic, clearly an expensive project. The room decoration is funky but not comfortable. There was really no sitting space, an old sewing table for a desk but one has to share the space with a big sewing machine. No closet or chest for clothes. An antique ironing board served as an end table, which means thinking a bit about how to leave the bed. Next time I will only go to the hotel if the room is booked in the main building, where our room was charming and comfortable.
