Nice comfortable resort

Hotel is nice and quiet. Service staff is friendly and helpful. A good place to spend a getaway if u enjoyed beach activities. A little far if your plan is to eat and shop.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. The grounds are well maintained and the surroundings are quite beautiful. There are only two dining choices on weekdays and there many things to do during the day as the city and towns are not close and there are no interesting places to visit nearby. It's great if you want to sit around the pool all day, but not if you want to get out and see things.

A beautiful beachfront location, with a very helpful staff. Pools are lovely, as is beach. Great sunset views to Singapore. The place is showing some age and they are doing updates. A great value at $50 US/night breakfast buffet included. Very close to Nongsapura ferry terminal with free shuttle.

The staff was wonderful but the place really needs to be refreshed like many other hotels in Batam in fact. Also, please clean the beach. It s such a pity to have such a nice surrounding full of trash in some part of the beach. Massages were really nice The food at the restaurant was average/low but pretty good at the sea food restaurant on the beach.

We stayed in a Villa on the water and the room was gorgeous! A little dated in the styling and kitchen, but clean, comfortable, a full kitchen (limited utensils but the basics). Nice verandah into water with chairs and tables. Air con was good also. The pools were fantastic!! A huge one up top near the restaurant (they were happy to serve us food there) and a great smaller pool on the beach. The transport service from room to restaurant was great and they came whenever we asked (although hotel was not busy at all when we were there) Great band that plays in evening. Areas they could do better in: - too much rubbish in beach - they had cleaned a lot of rubbish but left the bags full sitting in beach. - there was an old speed boat broken left in middle of beach - there were multiple ‘kayaks’ and peddle boats that the kids wanted to use but all were broken (so they need to remove them) - the beach sports centre looked like an old garage that was falling down, no signage and no food or drinks available down on beach. A lot could be improved on the beach area to make it really nice (as they have an amazing beach spot!)

My sea view room was just in front of an ongoing construction site with excavator and workers noises blaring all throughout my 4 days stay. My ocean view totally submerged and spoilt by the job site. My holiday to unwind and chill out unfortunately didn’t work out 😩

The resort was very comfortable. However, I was a little disappointed that though I booked the deluxe room, I was told that we couldn't get chairs on the balcony so that we could sit and enjoy the ocean view. Moreover, as a vegetarian, our options were very limited.

Get what you pay for.

Look, there's no doubt that this hotel is excellent value-wise. Sixty-six bucks a night is remarkable. However, they have cut costs on the most essential parts: bed and linen quality. The beds are rock hard, and the sheets paper thin. Pillows are fat, and there's no option for foam pillows. This place is fine if you're going to Batam for an overnight golf trip.

Book deluxe room.. no chair at the balcony.. came on time to check in.. wait almost 2hrs for my keys. Listing state got free shuttle bus to shopping mall but when message them, was told there is no such service. All faclities are super old and run down.. food not nice.. doesnot worth the price.

1. hotel seems to have been renovated (the hallway and the rooms) so looks clean and nice. 2. on hotels.com, it says there is a fitness place, however, there actually isn’t one, so the info is wrong. 3. there is a live band session everyday at night in the atrium. although the music sound didn’t reach that much to the rooms above, it could be heard in the hallways of the upper floors.

Mixed feelings about the stay

Objectively, the hotel is fine and though the communal areas are a little dated, the rooms are modern and mostly clean, and the staff are all friendly and helpful. For the price and location, was not a million miles from other similar resorts. However, the Hotels.com information was inaccurate and misleading on some room types. Majority of imagery + info refer to / show elements only available in premium rooms / the villas, whereas the majority of rooms don’t have these features and are more basic - e.g. I booked a Deluxe Room on the basis of the information listing of a King Bed and having a bath tub. On check in, it was a twin bed, no bath and no furniture on the balcony (and the wifi was poor). The staff were able to help me change rooms to what I’d been expecting, which was then more like the large, spacious room with a tub + furniture in the listing. Other issues I might have otherwise overlooked, but due to the room issues just meant I was disappointed and wouldn’t come back: food was only OK, was nice being able to see the sea and Singapore views, but construction looks messy and was noisy at times, as was the party resort across the water. Rooms appeared clean, but I did unfortunately see a couple of bugs/insects in bed the last night of my stay.

Check in staff told us to wait for an hour as room was not ready. Came back an hour later, told us the room was still not ready. Came back an hour later again and still gave us the same excuse. However, we notice people checking in after us was getting their rooms. She told us we can get our room immediately if we upgraded. I do not think we should pay extra for the hotel’s inefficiency. Eventually got our room when we we made a fuss (they had a room, we just needed to be nasty to get it) but the holiday experience was already ruined.
