RUN, RUN...RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!!! IT MUST BE CLOSED IMMIDIETELY!

This was the worst hotel that I have ever been in my life. I have booked more than 20 hotels thru expedia until now. Most of them 4 and 5 star hotels. I've been to many many hotels all around the world----USA, Europe, Asia. This hotel does not have anything common with even 1 star hotel---dirty and small rooms, I do not know why it is signed with 4 stars. First, we are situated in a room, called standart room that looks like a cheap student hostel. Once I talked with the staff, they moved me to a "luxorious" room, which looks like a norma room in a 3 star hotel, but dirty, cold and...and....the heating system was stopped in 3 A.M..SPA CENTER??? NO...IT IS NOT--IT JUST A SWIMMING POOL WITH BATHROOM!!! THAT STAY IN THIS HOTEL WAS THE WORST NIGHMARE I HAVE EVER DREAM. AFTER 2 NIGHTS THERE I NEEDED VACATION FOR ANOTHER 3 DAYS.....STAY AWAY!!! RUN AWAY!!!

Villa Roka, Bansko, Bulgaria

We booked this hotel two months before our departure and booked a deluxe room on the highest floor facing the mountains. On arrival, we were given a room on the first floor with view of buildings. We complained immediately to the receptionist and she gave us the possibilty to view two other rooms which were not what we booked. After re-complaing, she had no alternative but to give us a duplex room facing the mountains with a balcony. Cleaning of the room is much to be desired as stains on the coffe table were left uncleaned for the whole stay.Water was leaking in the bathroom from the central heating and from under the sink which was left there unnoticed by the maids. We ordered some food by room service and the plates were delivered cold and uncovered. It's a pity that the service in this hotel is very poor as the hotel itself is very modern and relaxing, when there are no children screaming and shouting in the reception for a whole day!!

Very good hotel, for a very good price.

This hotel has everything you'd expect from a four star rating. The rooms are comfortable with plenty of space, the service all good and I was satisfied by everything. The spa facilites are fantastic, and a lot of time was spent there if not skiing! My only complaint would be the price of the food in the restaurant. The food is edible, but definitely not up to the standard of what you are paying for. I would reccomend walking down one street and eating in one of the many restauants on the main street, all of wich will be cheaper and better.

Villa Roka - 6 λεπτά με τα πόδια από το κέντρο.

Το ξενοδοχείο ήταν αρκετά περιποιημένο. Με κάποιες προσθήκες, θα άγγιζε το τέλειο. Το πρωινό ήταν καλό αλλά θα μπορούσε να σου δίνονται περισσότερες επιλογές. Στα συν, η μεταφορά στη γόνδολα με mini-bus. Προσωπικά μου άρεσε ότι δεν ήταν τόσο κεντρικά, οπότε είχες την ησυχιά σου. Ωστόσο περπατώντας 6 λεπτά βρισκόσουν στο κέντρο και σε 8 λεπτά στην γόνδολα.

good for everything ....

near to bansko old city center by 5 min walking . they have ski room for storage . shuttle to gondola two way (but last return is 16:45 is little bit early ) stuffs are polite and helpfull and smile , we accomodate as a bed and breakfast and breakfast is good . rooms are clean . we did not use pool and spa so i can not make critic about it . but overall is good for our stay we are pleased to stay villa roka we can choose villa roka next time for sure ....

great ski holiday at villa roka

villa roka is located very close to old city center little bit far from godola for ski but they have shuttle and they give you a ride to the gondola only problem is shuttle return 16:45 from gondola to hotel we never catched it because ski slopes are huge there and we forgot the time :) overall is great price for this hotel . my wife and i very satisfied our holiday at villa roka .... staffs are polite and helpfull for everything .

nice location in the center of the city

the third bed in the room was really awfull, a small sofa they turned into a bed! No Toillet paper in stock! We had to ask for more! Nearly acceptable meals.

Hotel Villa Roka in Bansko

A really beautiful,new hotel ,just 5-6 minute walk from the center of bansko.Minimal and different decoration (never seen that in bansko) , great lobby bar, you can hang out there for hours and hours,good services , polite staff (they spoke english an greek) ready to satisfy all your demands.Our room was clean and tidy everyday and they changed towels daily too.The lifts and the gondola were a little far but the hotel provided mini bus to take you there and back.We were absolutely satisfied and we're definetely going to stay there next time.Really good value for money, we paid a 4 star hotel in a price of a 2 star.Hope I've been helpful!
