Kap House is lovely but don’t go to Bansko

Kap House is lovely but don’t go to Bansko. We have been to Bansko 6 times but unfortunately it will be our last. The queues for the gondola were terrible, we had to pay for a minibus on our 2nd day or it would literally have taken hours to get up the mountain. Several of the runs were closed (including some at the top of the mountain), it's too busy for the runs that are open even out of high season and it isn't as cheap as it used to be. The old part of town is still very nice, the hotel was great and the people friendly. If you do go to Bansko stay at the Kap House.

Good location and very nice room

The room was very big, the location is great, around 5 minutes walk to to the gondola. Breakfest wasn't much but it was very affordable so it was fine. There is a great Jacuzzi available. Ski room is on the smaller size and could use frw more shoes dryers - available only for 4 pairs.

Excellent hotel with spa

Very nice hotel with excellent spa, sauna, Jacuzzi, small pool. Economy room on a 3rd floor was adequate for me as a solo skier/traveler, but for a couple I would suggest to book a standard room with the balcony. People there are very nice and helpful, and it's only about 6 min walk from the gondola. Internet was very good.

Kap House is value for money ...

Friendly and helpful staff. Easy check in. Walking distance to gondola ski lift. Restaurant of the hotel has lots of choice and is open late. Room was spacious with a good shower and good wifi connection. Overall look is a bit old fashioned but don't have a problem with that. I haven't seen a lift in the hotel so if you stay on the 3th floor ... If we would go back to Bansko we 'll stay again in Kap House !

basic hotel 5 mins walk from the gondola

Kap House is a good basic hotel close to the slopes on the Main Street - the rooms were cleaned everyday and fresh towels provided. The breakfast is an additional +7BGN per person per day, very convenient but you could find better value and quality outside. The spa facilities are ok, the changing rooms are very basic and the pool/jacuzzi area smelt like oil from the kitchens most days which was a bit off putting, sauna was all fine. The ski equipment store/dry room near the reception was very useful.

Sehr empfehlenswert

Ein sehr schönes Hotel in einer wunderschönen Umgebung. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen, das Zimmer war sauber und freundlich eingerichtet. Das Personal immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir werden bestimmt wieder dort buchen!

Great value for money

4 young lads at end of season skiing holiday. Great location to slopes and restaurants. Room and hotel had everything we needed. Would stay here again if we were to return.

Αρκετά καλό σαν σύνολο, πολύ βολική η τοποθεσία του και καθαρά δωμάτια. Το wifi μπορεί να παρουσιάσει κάποιες φορές πρόβλημα. Εύκολο parking ακριβώς μπροστά στην είσοδο. Στα συν, επιπλέον έκπτωση εαν επιλέξετε για φαγητό το εστιατόριο που υπάρχει στο ισόγειο, το οποίο είναι και από μόνο του μια ξεχωριστή επιλογή ως κατάστημα.

Hotel was great for what we needed it for

Good position for gondola approximately 5 min walk. Good bars and restaurants near by, loins bar just outside hotel and ginger restaurant which is close by did good food and drinks. Hotel was perfect for what we needed it for and would use again

Приятным бонусом оказалась 20% скидка в ресторане "веранда" находящемся на первом этаже. Отель находится на центральной улице Банско. В непосредственной близости от баров, поэтому спать с открытым окном не получалось из-за шума.
