Beautiful property! Jacques and Benoit were fabulous hosts with excellent suggestions and detailed directions. The breakfast was also delightful. The parking was tricky, but our hosts gave us perfect directions. Highly recommend this property. Incredible value. Thank you again to our lovely hosts!

This is a great property ! It’s like coming home or a summer vacation home. Benoit and Jacques are wonderful, warm and very personal hosts. Love the garden, updated bathroom with beautiful tiles, decor in our room as well in the living room.

A fantastic find. A beautifully restored house with 4 guest rooms. Large and extremely comfortable, like sleeping in a cloud. A large and beautiful bathroom with useful little extras. A lovely garden a treat to enjoy after a busy day. The breakfast buffet was lovely with homemade cake and jams, fresh bread and freshly squeezed orange juice. Benoit and Jacques the perfect hosts. Like staying with family.

Benoit & Jacques are the best hosts we have ever had. They go out of their way to make your stay first class. Their bed & breakfast has a relaxing courtyard, an amazing sitting room and art work covering the walls. The breakfast was great, very fresh and a good selection.

Immaculate, charming, comfortable, inviting, tranquil, spacious, delightful, enchanting... We stayed two nights at Le Clos Saluces in mid September 2024. The location is perfect, a short walk to just about anywhere in Avignon. Jacques and Benoît are truly amazing hosts. The "access map" they sent before our trip was most helpful. We were driving a rental car and parked very conveniently at the Palais des Papes parking garage. Avignon "must do" sites: Palais des Papes, Pont Saint Benedez, and Le Clos Saluces!

Incredible decor, comfort and the best hosts!

Benoit and Jacques were incredible hosts! A couple of weeks before we arrived, they texted with specific directions to their beautiful home, where to park and took care of my allergies in advance! They greeted us with great energy, took our bags upstairs to our room, gave an overview of location and asked what our preferred breakfast time was. They provided great recommendations on what to do and where to eat in the places we were travelling to each day. They also called in advance to make dinner reservations for us each evening. Their command of the English language is great and it made for very easy conversations! The room was spectacular! The decor, detail and ambience in this B&B is stunning! We didn’t want to leave! They also cleaned our room and replenished any supplies on a daily basis. Highly recommend and can’t wait return!

Convivial hosts Jacques & Benoit made our trip Avignon both memorable and enjoyable. Great inn for our stay with comfortable accommodations with up to date facilities: great a/c; modern bathroom/shower utilities; light & bright throughout - as well as light blocking curtains. My wife also enjoyed the fragrant gardens and memorable breakfast provided. When we return to Avignon we’ll definitely stay at Los Clos Saluces again.

A true oasis

My wife and I are from NYC and we stayed at Le Clos Saluces for a few days during our travels. We absolutely loved this place. Benoit and Jacques, the two proprietors, were super welcoming and warm. They poured their hearts into perfecting this city oasis and designed everything with thought and care. They knew Avignon and the surrounding cities intimately. They were able to make us dinner reservations, provided us detail on the best local shops and helped us choose local wineries to enjoy. Daily, Benoit and Jacques prepared fresh breakfast filled with, among other items, home made pastries, home made jams, yogurt and fresh squeezed juice. It was a lovely touch. The house and the courtyard are super clean, exquisitely maintained and decorated intimately. Our room boasted an extremely comfortable bed, a large bathroom with a lovely walk-in shower and plenty of windows to enjoy the aforementioned courtyard. Before our arrival, they were kind enough to advise us to park at a nearby garage. We didn't know the lay of the land and it was helpful to receive that email or else our big rental car wouldn't have fit down Avignon's narrow streets. Le Clos Saluces is a magnificent place run by two of the most helpful hosts. We recommend booking ASAP, and when we are in Avignon, we will surely return!

Hotel de charme avec une superbe cour paisible

Nous avons sélectionné cette propriété sur la base des nombreuses excellentes critiques et malgré de grandes attentes, nous avons été complètement enchantés ! Il s'agit d'une chambre d'hôtes et les propriétaires Benoît et Jacques ont restauré avec amour une vieille maison délabrée et l'ont transformée en une superbe maison de ville familiale aux allures du 19ème siècle. La rénovation de quatre ans comprenait la reconstruction de la propriété et la création d'une cour centrale paisible et luxuriante. Aucun détail n'a été épargné, notamment les escaliers en pierre reconstruits, les parquets, les poutres apparentes, les cheminées et les équipements modernes. Nous avions une très grande chambre donnant sur les auvents des arbres de la cour et nous avons été étonnés de constater que, même si nous étions à 400 mètres du Palais des Papes, nous n'entendions absolument aucun bruit ! Notre lit était très confortable et la salle de bain était immense, surtout pour les standards européens. Jacques a organisé pour nous des réservations pour des dîners dans de merveilleux restaurants et les repas ont également été les points forts de notre voyage. Ma seule recommandation serait de les contacter plus tôt, car certains restaurants étaient déjà complets. Nos hôtes ont été impeccables et notre expérience a été un coup de cœur lors de notre voyage en France. Merci Benoît et Jacques !

The property owners, who are also the hosts, take a great deal of pride in the home and the garden, and it shows. The breakfast includes a new homemade cake each day. Jacques and Benoit also offer valuable advise on itineraries and reservations with local restaurants. The location is ideal for all Avignon sites. You will not find a better place to stay in Avignon.
