Beautiful updated cabin in Arnold, California perfect for weekend getaways, skiing trips or just relaxing in the mountain air. This cozy cabin will become your favorite getaway. This 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath home will comfortably sleep 6.
Large deck and enclosure perfect place to gather with the family amidst the surrounding pines. Just a short walk away from restaurants , shopping and public pool (seasonal) . Also short drive to Arnold's down town area , White Pines lake , Calaveras Big Trees , Murphy's and many other gold country adventures

The location was fantastic! And, we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the grocery store and restaurants within 5-10 min. of the cottage. While it was quiet and comfortable for 2, if we had had our family, there was not really a place for people to sit inside and play board games or chat (although the island did have a pull-out). Communication with the owner was great; but, unless I missed something, we were required to either put down a very steep deposit or purchase insurance, neither of which were good options for us. Overall, while simple, it met all our needs!

Arnold cabin

Cabin in the woods

The cabin was very cute- looked recently remodeled inside. The kitchen was gorgeous and was opened to the living room. The deck was nice to sit on. The cabin had a nice secluded feel- empty lot on both sides of the cabin. We used the back yard to throw the ball for our dog.

A break from the Bay Area

We came up to Arnold for a little getaway from the Bay Area and we had an amazing time. Murphys cottage was very clean, spacious and the location was perfect. I loved the covered porch and the rocking chair. It was a lovely spot to curl up with a book. The kitchen island table was expandable and perfect for our game nights. We couldn’t have asked for better accommodations.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This was our fourth time staying at this property. We loved our stay. The cabin had everything we needed. The timing was perfect; we got overnight snow two nights in a row and the kids were able to play and sled in the yard. We will definitely be returning in the future.
