"Room was excellent. It had a small couch and small table to have a small snacks. You can use a beitiful local crafted glasses. Easy to go to Nebuta museum, Wa Rasse and ASPAM. Also, near the donwtown area. Walking distance from Aomori station. We loved the staybat this hotel."

We missed the peak fall leaves but that did not detract from the natural beauty of this area and we still enjoyed the waterfalls of Oirase gorge and the small loop around Tsuta pond greatly. If anything the onsens were even more enjoyable in the cold weather, and we were grateful to have the opportunity to stay in such a historic and well-kept ryokan. "

The onsen bath with a view of the still rock pond is especially striking in the evening. The room is spacious enough for 4. There's samisen concert at night after dinner, there's bookstore, etc."
