location is perfect, I stayed for a long weekend and I couldn’t of enjoyed it more. Right on the doorstep of central Amsterdam couldn’t complain, staff incredibly helpful, would highly recommend if you want a quick break

Great choice if you're looking for a more cost effective option to a full hotel room, but dont wish to wish to share a dorm style room. The cubes were surprisingly quiet and the bed comfortable.

Cube with canal view. Definitely worth the couple extra dollars. Bed was comfortable. It would be great to have a small chair or stool in the room. The location couldn’t be better. It’s right on the Dam by Amsterdam Central station.

Near the Centraal station, and easy for visiting all attractions. The staff was super friendly and they helped us in all possible ways. Clean rooms to quick service to clean washrooms and clean lifts and stairs. It was the best hostel i have ever stayed at. They have a restaurant you can dine in downstairs and where they serve breakfast. It was a great experience in all. I would come back to this place everytime.

I absolutely loved my stay at This Hostel in Amsterdam. The pod-style setup was perfect. Great privacy, and although the space is small, it’s exactly as advertised. The photos are completely accurate, and the value for the price is fantastic. The location is amazing, right near everywhere you’d want to be. There are tons of great food spots, nightlife, and dessert places all around, which made it super convenient and fun to explore the city. The shared bathrooms are very nice and well-maintained. The only minor downside is that they can sometimes smell a bit moldy due to the sinks leaking slightly, but it wasn’t a big deal. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Bag storage is free, and they even let us check in hours early at no extra charge. There’s also a bar and a full restaurant downstairs in the hostel, which was awesome. Overall, an amazing experience with absolutely no real complaints. I would 100% stay here again, 10/10.

Good location for tourist

Very close to train station and town ! A little hip hostel place, check in is the same as the restaurant, which is a bit confusing. Wish the shower had hooks. Room is clean, just very small with very little room to move but comfortable.

I loved this hostel! The vibe was amazing — cool, unique, and modern. Everything was very clean. The room looked smaller on the website, but in person, it was the perfect size. The location is great, especially being so close to the central station. Everyone was super nice and welcoming. Highly recommend!

This Hostel was a great place to stay in Amsterdam! Staff were very welcoming upon our arrival and our room and hostel facilities were kept clean and neat. Hostel is divided into individual pods for additional privacy and space and the hostel has a fun vibe and decor. The area near the hostel is bustling and full of shops, places to eat and is very walkable.

The proposal of this accommodation is very cool. The bedding, and the structure of the room, although small, meet what is necessary for a trip of a few days. The biggest problem of this accommodation is the bathroom: it is not cleaned according to the scheduled times, in the shower part there is a strong smell of sewage and there is a lack of maintenance. There is no shampoo and soap as they say in the ad. But the location is perfect. We did everything on foot. This is the best thing about hosting.

Our overall stay was satisfactory, and while the room was indeed very small, we were aware that this is part of the hotel’s concept, so this aspect met our expectations. However, we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. We found hair along the sides of the bed, visible dust, and—most concerning—an empty condom wrapper next to the mattress. This raised questions about whether any cleaning had been carried out beyond changing the sheets. We reported the issue to the front desk, but unfortunately no solution or gesture of goodwill has been offered to us so far. (Update if the hotel provides a response.) Apart from this, the common areas were generally in acceptable condition, and the breakfast selection was sufficient for our needs.
