Staff was kind and accomodating. When you walk out of the door of the hotel, you are right at Rembrandt’s Square. Theee are several coffee shops nearby within a minute of two walk, several excellent restaurants. We would stay there again.

Easy to check in, nice and quiet considering there are bars all around the hotel. Fantastic location in the middle of Rembrandtplein, relatively quiet area and very close (walking distance) to the city centre

The room was very clean and well presented when we arrived, and cleaned every day after with new towels. It is in a very convenient location to travel into the city centre, with lots of bars and food places nearby to try. The nearby area is very busy at night, but where we stayed on the top floor we could not hear any noise when trying to get to sleep. The stairs are very tall and thin so accessibility may be an issue for some, but we saw them in the hotel pictures, so we expected this, and had no issues transporting our luggage. Less-abled visitors should keep this in mind We would definitely stay here again when planning another break to Amsterdam.

This was our first time visiting Amsterdam and loved our stay at The Bolster. The hotel is conveniently located by the tram with access to the entire city. There are bars and restaurants right by the hotel as well as walkable options. The accommodations were right what we expected.

Fantastic Spot!!!

Great location in the heart of a busy historic district. Very unique place to stay. Other than the tricky staircase to go up to the rooms, everything was better than expected. Serena the manager is helpful, entertaining, and very accommodating!

This is a good small hotel to spend the night. Centrally located to a lot of restaurants. Near public transportation. But is an old house converted to a hotel and is very noisy because bars stay open until very late at night. And there is no elevator and very small steep steps so hard to take big luggage to the 2nd and 3rd floor… but is no luggage and can go up the stairs with no issues. Good hotel. Great staff.

Lovely!

Would stay here again, staff very friendly & helpful. Bed was really comfortable and room really clean. Was a bit noisy as we had room on the front and on top of a bar but still didnt stop us from falling asleep. Im a great area to ive stayed in a few hotels around this area before. I would recommend this hotel.

As three 18 year olds the room was perfect and the location amazing, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted, and the beds were very comfortable. The only improvement I can think of is if there was another mirror included in the room, thanks for a lovely stay.

Review was a nice walkable distance to everything and the staff were super friendly. The frustrating part was the A/c was actually turned off and having the window open to cool off room brought in the smell of fried food from restaurants nearby and loud music till the early am hours.

We had a great time at Bolster! Room was tiny but just what we needed. Area is great but definitely not quiet, so if you are looking for calm gateway then I would chose somewhere else. Plenty of food options and coffeeshops in the area. Also be prepared to climb some stairs! No elevator, but it had its European charm :)

The woman who checked me in on Thursday afternoon for my three day stay was very nice. I never saw anyone at the desk again. The room was fine (small European style room) and everything worked. It was clean and quiet on the back side of the building. The front side would have been noisier as the hotel is right on Rembrandtplein which has many pubs and restaurants. The location is quite convenient. One thing to know is that the stairs are very steep and narrow and I wouldn’t recommend carrying more than one bag at a time up those stairs which are not very well lit. Overall a very nice stay!
