Cam and Vic were the most wonderful hosts this weekend. Their B&B is so lovely. The room and bathroom were a great size and the location is perfect. And breakfast was even better than we imagined! They truly made it a perfect weekend. We would definitely stay there again.
Nice property in an area that is crazy expensive. The hosts are warm and wonderful. We were there on a cold rainy summer weekend, and I was uncomfortable with the cold air that was fan-fed through vents throughout the house. Also had minor problems with the television in our room, and the darkness in the closed (no light). Breakfasts on both mornings were excellent. I expect that a sunny warm day would have been quite a different experience.
What a delight to stay at 434 on Main. Very welcoming hosts and amazing breakfasts each morning. Rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are up to date. We were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend it.
Very well-maintained B&B. Clean room with a large bathroom & shower, great breakfast, friendly people. Good location only a 5-7 minute walk from Amagansett shops & restaurants. Only drawback is we were on the bottom floor and we did hear a bit of noise from people walking on the floor above us. Also, the house is not that far from the road, so you do get some noise from that. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
Victor & Cam we’re incredibly hostesses, they treat us like family. I waited in the morning to see what incredible breakfast they would be making. I would recommend them above all & can’t wait to go back.

Everything about the house was extraordinary! The room was decorated so nicely! The breakfasts were wonderful, the refrigerator had waters, soda and beer. Warm homemade chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon. An easy walk from the train and into town! Loved everything about the place!
Wonderful! Perfect location - walk to beach, walk to town. Peaceful front porch and big back yard. Adorable decor, and lovely proprietors. Delish breakfast each day.
We spent 3 nights here and enjoyed everything. The room was spacious and comfortable. Town and the beach were close. We would recommend 434 Main to all
We traveled from Newport, RI to Amagansett to see Rufus Wainwright perform at The Stephen Talkhouse last Sunday evening. Cam and Victor were fabulous hosts. Our suite was wonderful and they cooked us a great breakfast each morning of our stay. We could walk to the Talkhouse, which was just a half mile away. If we ever return to Amagansett, we will try to stay at 434 on Main.
Home away from home. Only nicer.
Cam, Victor and dog, Molly, warmly greeted us on arrival. They live on the property just behind the house. We had our dog with us and he and Molly got along very well.
Our room was very spacious, beautifully furnished, and with an extraordinarily comfortable bed. The en-suite bathroom was huge with a large shower. And everything was so clean.
What I really liked about 434 on Main is that while it's an older style home, it had been modernised in a way that was extremely homely and inviting. There is also a large fenced garden at the back of the house with sun chairs and a pretty little gazebo.
Cam and Victor cook breakfast for guests every morning. There is always a wide selection of fresh fruit, a basket of Cam's freshly baked muffins, scones or cakes, juice, french press coffee, and a hot dish that varied each day. Everything was scumptious. More than enough to see us through most of the day and to power us through our long walks.
434 is in Amagansett, at the northern end of The Hamptons on Long Island. There are a string of villages with cafes and shops to explore, but we chose to avoid that and just walk, rest and go for drives.
This is a beautiful part of the world and I can't recommended 434 on Main highly enough if you're looking for the perfect place to stay.
To Cam, Victor and Molly - thank you. We arrived utterly exhausted from an extremely busy year and we left feeling relaxed and refreshed.
We arrived on a weekday when it was nice and quiet and the crowds had not started to come in for the weekend yet. The owners greeted us and gave us a tour of the property. They made us feel quite welcome, and the room was immaculate. The bathroom was pristine and spacious. We stayed for two nights, and each morning we had a wonderful breakfast prepared by Victor. We were provided with a beach parking pass and the beach was two minutes from the property. It is probably just about 15 minutes from the town of Montauk, just far enough away to get away from the crowds but close enough to go down to the point when you want to.
Victor and Cam are delightful hosts! The house was lovely, and our room was stylish, clean and comfortable. They had an impeccable attention to detail (from providing toiletries to beach towels) - not to mention they are phenomenal cooks. It's walking distance to Amagansett town, so the location couldn't be any more ideal. Overall, a fantastic experience. Would definitely stay here again.
Our stay at 434 on Main Street was wonderful. Everything in the house was spotless. Our room was comfortable and the couch open and ready when we came back. Lovely light bathroom, loved all the different shower heads. Our breakfast table was set up by a window and we enjoyed not only the great food but deer walking by and birds at the feeder. Owners were very friendly including Molly the poodle who greeted and approved us. I visited with my friend from Germany and she was also very impressed. I hope to visit there again with my husband and have already recommended it to family members.
