Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Arrived early and although did not expect to check in we were offered another room which was ready. We left car in car park and walked down town for lunch and checked in later. Room was super clean and well equipped. This hotel has such a lovely cosy, relaxed feel but the thing that makes it really special is the staff - literally everyone I interacted with, from the reception staff, the waiters, the chef at breakfast and the restaurant staff at lunch. Everyone was so pleasant, friendly and incredibly helpful! Thank you for making what was a rather unwelcome business trip into something really special! I will definitely stay here again when I am next in Aberdeen!

The Chester is always relaxed and welcoming but a Christmas it becomes magical a haven from all the hustle and bustle. The dinning experience set in elegant surroundings is wonderful, the menu will give you the only problem you will have ... deciding what to choose from their fabulous selections, a true fine dinning experience . If you are travelling to Aberdeen the Chester has lots parking and despite being so central it is very quiet and within walking distance of museums and shopping
