Find 5 Star Hotels in Thalpitiya from AED 262

"At check-in, we were told our room was not ready even though we arrived 2 hrs after check in time, when I questioned why that was the case for a “5 star” hotel, they miraculously found another room available to give us, figure that! There were plenty of friendly staff, but they were not attentive. We had dinner in the Indian restaurant - good quality and nice food. Overall, I would say “faded glory” in style and character - may not stay again here."

"Great location and nice to stay in such an historic hotel. The room was comfortable but lacked some of the modern amenities - although recently renovated. Only warm water at best in the shower. Breakfast was great as was the meal we had in the 1864 Restaurant. We would definitely stay there again as the overall experience outweighed the few negatives."

"Overall a great experience in a true 5 star. Everything is nice, modern, well maintained, with nice and helpful service. Pool is great and calm, spa is beautiful and professional, restaurants are very good. Breakfast is rich. In short, recommended."

"Room iPad wasn’t working. Sky swimming pool was covered both sides by glasses. Visibility is restricted and it wasn’t cleaned for some time. Gym is not big enough for the hotels price tag. There are better options for cheaper prices in Colombo. "
