Your room includes a breakfast and dinner buffetes and most people wear the colorful yukata provided by the hotel. The property is a bit out of date but the public bath is quite nice. Transportation into the city is limited and taxi is about $20 USD"

"I really like the location of this hotel/onsen. It's right on the river and you can hear and view it as you soak in the onsen or as you're enjoying tea in your room. The staff tried their best to help us in english. Between that and Google we were able to figure things out. The only disappointment is that meals were included but we were never told that we had to reserve and same day reservations are not permitted. "Excellent "Western" Japanese Hotel. We particularly enjoyed the the rooftop Japanese spa, the excellent breakfast and after dinner the lounge with fresh drinks and snacks. The hotel also offers dinner on site which we didn't book because we had dinner in the city but what we saw looked also very good. "
