"We booked a room that had a beautiful terrace looking onto the garden but the room they gave us was in the back so it got no light and the terrace faced a wall. We complained and they said the photos online are just examples. Not good value for money and the photos are deceiving. "

"I stayed for 1 night at Villa Tina. I had a pleasant stay, mainly due to the very friendly atmosphere from the family that owns the place. Nicely decorated and the food is good. The distance to the town centre is about 10 minutes by foot which I thought was alright. The reason why I give the hotel a bit low scores is because it feels a bit run down, the toilet in my room was working very poorly and I couldnt really use the pool because it looked quite dirty. "Amerigo and his family were so extremely welcoming to me, and made me feel at home. Amerigo even picked me up when I was lost finding the hotel, and drove me to the ferry when I left. They made me feel very safe and welcome as a solo female traveler. The sea balcony was beautiful, and you can have your breakfast on the water. Walkable to the town centre, with a beach on the way. I will definitely return when I get a chance to come back to Forio. "
