I loved City Stay Apartments. Furnishings were excellent and the apartment was perfect for my needs. I loved the privacy and ease of getting to nearby stores. If I go back to Zurich I will stay there again.

Very easy and efficient. Clean with good basic amenities. Check in screens on arrival weren’t entirely intuitive but we worked it out. Overall a good comfortable stay.

Very happy with the accommodation. Clean, comfortable bed, small balcony, equipped with everything one may need during a short stay. Parking in the garage had to be arrange paid separately. So, not included in the price of the accommodation. All in all, it is a very recommendable place.

If you want good value for your money!

Great location with the tram just outside the main entrance. Great value for the money , very comfortable appartment with everything you can wish for and also very clean and modern. The only thing that's negative is that the bed is a little too hard to sleep on. But otherwise very good!

Beautiful apartment close to transport

This was a beautifully appointed apartment right on the number 11 tram line direct to the city, so very convenient. However I have somr negative comments. The apartment was lacking some essentialss for short stay travellers.The kitchen has no microwave, toaster or dishwasher. There was no plug in the kichen sink, no potato peeler, no small sharp knives & no washing up liquid provided. We booked the apartment so we could cook our own meals but it was difficult with limited appliances & facilities in the kichen. There were a couple of other things including the fact that it was 31c & we had no fan or aircon & only a thick doona on the bed so we were very hot. Roadworks outside the door with jackhammering after 7.30am was very disturbing though of course this was not the fault of hotel. It wouldn't take much to make this place perfect but it is lacking a little at present.

Good apartment and tram stop is just 3min from it which is great Good clean apartment Nicely equipped with microwave..dishes , spoons so well done Good to have fan during hot day but was only one needed two one for living and one for bedroom Now the reasons its 3 stars 1. 4pm check in HUGE inconvenience 2. No one there so had to lift heavy suitcases through the main doors n stairs just to discover no stair entry at the other side of the building 3. Booked for 3 people but no bedding was available for 3rd person so no pillow no duvet no bed.. there was small sofa bed but was not ideal for sleeping so 4rd person slept on floor 4. No milk for coffee 5. I was advised after 12 call to see if room is available and tat there are high chance or will be but no luck to we waited till 3:40pm then gave up ..Huge inconvenient

We stayed here for our first month after moving to the area while we got settled. Very clean, great staff, and right on the tram line so it was very easy to get around.

The property was very clean and tidy, spacious, airy, modern with all equipment we needed provided. The building was quiet well lit safe and secure. The balconey was just right for watching the world go by. The tram stopped right outside perfect for us.

excellent appartment

Location is just 15 mins by tram from Zurich main train station and stage is just in front of building. Kitchen was fully equipped, with even a dishwasher. Shower was very spacious. Very clean. Bed comfortable. Perfect wifi. Every time I had a query I sent an email and they replied asap. Laundry service in the lower floor was useful. Easy self check in. If I should visit Zurich again, I won't hesitate to stay again in City Stay Forchstrasse. Keep up the good job.

Pleasant apartment in convenient location

Overall, we had a nice 4-night stay in a studio apartment with kitchen and balcony. Mostly pros! We frequently stay in Zurich, so we were not visiting tourist attractions, but great location that was a few tram stops from the old town, a nice stroll to the lake, restaurants and market were nearby. We didn't cook meals, but it was nice to have a kitchen to prepare a little breakfast and snacks to enjoy on the balcony. The kitchen was a good size and was well equiped to make a simple meal. The only cons were that the mattress could be more comfortable because it felt a bit lumpy. It is also important to note that there is no air conditioning, which meant sleeping with the balcony door open and hearing noise from the trams most of the night but there was a fan in the room that helped circulate air and soften the noise. So if you are a light sleeper, request courtyard facing room! Otherwise, it was clean, spacious and reasonably priced for Zurich.

Tidy Nespresso apartment

We stayed here whilst visiting family. Whilst the flat was not ready at 6pm , the friendly staff member ( who luckily arrived) offered refreshments until it was ready an hour later. Found that it was not so easy to get into the building as my pre phoned arrangements did not work and I needed an entry code. However , once this was sorted the flat was great. Simply and cleanly furnished with cooking facilities including Nespresso machine. Local supermarket was nearby and the apartments are on the 11 tram route so handy for the city centre. I would certainly recommend this place but check carefully how to get in if you arrive at a time when reception is not manned.

Sauber und zweckmäßig

Das Einchecken war problemlos, einen Garagenplatz haben wir im Haus bekommen. Das Appartement war sauber und es gab auch genug Geschirr. Was eindeutig fehlt, ist ein Staubsauger oder Besen. Leider gab es auch nicht einmal ein Geschirrspülmittel. Es könnte auch ein bisschen gemütlicher sein, z.B. mit einem Bettüberwurf, da es kein Sofa gibt. Die Lage ist sehr gut, die Straßenbahnhaltestelle ist direkt vor dem Haus.

Gelungener Aufenthalt im City Stay Forchstrasse

Für uns sehr gute Lage, Strassenbahn gleich vor dem Haus. Weil wir auch mit einem rental car unterwegs waren, haben wir im selben Haus eine Garage gemietet. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in unmittelbarer Umgebung, Spar, Denner, etwas weiter am Kreuzplatz Mirgros, Post, auch Restaurants. Nur zur "rush hour" ist es bei offenem Fenster etwas lärmig, doch auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite bei der Küche, kann ein Fenster ohne Lärmbelästigung geöffnet werden. Die Küche vom 32 QM Apartment hätte alles was es braucht, nur ein bisschen wenig Platz für anspruchsvolleres kochen. Für Frühstück und Snacks geht das jedoch perfekt, auch die Nespresso Maschine haben wir sehr geschätzt und wurde häufig benutzt. Im Keller hat es zwei Waschmaschinen mit Tumbler, sehr geschätzt wenn man über mehrere Tage bucht. Glätteisen, Glättbrett, alles vorhanden. Im selben Haus ist auch eine Pizzeria für den schnellen Hunger eingemietet, wir haben mehrmals Pizzas im Apartment gegessen, der Wirt macht wirklich super erstklassige Pizzas. Alles in allem, wir können City Stay Apartments sehr empfehlen und wir werden dies auch gerne tun und wenn es uns möglich ist, gerne wieder buchen.
