Hotel very clean, staff friendly. Check in slow as only one staff member on duty. Tiny pool, more of a plunge pool, busy. Excellent location, out of the city centre hustle. Great bus service into city. Lovely cafe across the road. Easy access for race course. Pricey but would stay again if cost was reasonable. Beer and larger cloudy in bar!

Had a relaxing 2 night stay, the room and bathroom was immaculately clean, we had a great night sleep the bed and pillows were perfect. The whole stay was so close to getting a 10 out of 10 except for 1 thing, in the room was an ice bucket with a card saying if u want ice, phone room service and it will be brought to the room, so I rang they said no problem, anyways am home now and got my own, jokes aside I don't understand why answer the phone if u have no intentions to bring it, then ignore the phone calls,which in fairness you should of done in the first place.

Great location and great property. Half hour walk into York with easy parking. Room was spacious and clean and with a very nice bathroom. Indoor pool and jacuzzi and sauna were clean and easy to use. Definitely recommend

The hotel was lovely, staff were very friendly and helpful, and the pool etc was excellent. However the bed was extremely hard which was very uncomfortable. It wouldn't put me off staying but i would make sure I took a topper myself.
