Arrived. Hotel completely closed. Can not find anyone to help from the hotel or from Hotels.com. Try to make sure your hotel exists before booking!!

awful avoid place

terrible was shut at 7.30pm had to bang on window to get help dirty mold dangerous light and stains on carpet and restaurant shut down so no breakfast they advertised and still.charge

Disappointing

Shabby room up lots of stairs. Very small. Bathroom main light did not work and sink had cracks in it. I expected better for the price. I stay in hotels every night for work. Had much better for a lot less money.

It would be great to know where to drop the keys as the pub was not open. Luckily my sister had access to the main reception so we dropped them into the suggestions box. Great size room and comfy bed. Great shower.

2 of the 3 essentials were covered. Comfy bed (with clean linen), hot water but the room was very cold with a single radiator that gave out very little heat and could not be improved upon by using it's thermostat. A very basic room (with good parking). Totally no-frills, but then again, not a lot of money so in that sense, one got what one paid for.

Embarrassing

Someone’s take away in bin toe nails on the floor window had big gab in paint chipings all over the floor stayed 11 nights towels not collected once had to go in to the bar for clean towels. Every night home from work room full of fly’s absolute disgrace. Asked to move room was told no chance. 11 nights of hell thanks

Two nights at globe and crown yeovil.

When i saw the pictures it seemed ok for a price of 80 a night, when me and my wife turned up at the room is was a bit messy, paint peeling on bathroom wall, the rail in bathrooom had rust on so didnt put towels on, bed was comfy. Breakfast was ok, but wife noticed it was cooked in chip fat and on sunday found a small burnt chip on side of plate. Staff were friendly.

A reasonably good stop over at fair price

On arrival made to feel very welcome despite extremely noisy customers in the Bar. Room very clean comfortable. Toilet seat broken but great shower. Breakfast really good with good service. Local shopping centre really close and top rated dinner at nearby restaurant.
