A very nice hotel. Perfect location if you want to walk to most things. It is right next to the wall at the part where it is most interesting. Nobody can speak English, but they used a translation app, and it worked fine. Breakfast is very Chinese and not one we like, but it was cheap. I would pick this hotel again if we return to Xi'an.

The first room we got on level 1 smelled like cigarette smoke and their solution was sending the housekeeper to spray it with air freshener. We asked to change rooms the next day as the smoke came through the air conditioning at night and we had to turn it off. They moved us 3 rooms down on the same level. Cigarette smoke also came through the vents so we had the air conditioning off while we stayed here. There is no seal under the patio door so we woke up to cockroaches in our room even though we didn’t have any food items. We wouldn’t recommend staying here.
