Site of Admaston station, 1991. View eastward, towards Wellington, Wolverhampton and Birmingham: ex-GWR & LNWR Joint (Birmingham - Shrewsbury - Chester GW main) and LNW Stafford - Wellington - Shrewsbury) lines. The station was closed 7/9/64, when the passenger service ceased between Wellington and Stafford (goods a year or so later). This is clearly still a main line through here.

"Warm, lovely sized rooms, great service, nice biccies, parking, the joy of sleeping in a breathing historic building. Full of history, charm and character in the charming Grade 1 listed building! 3rd time I’ve been and will happily becoming again when In Shrewsbury. Close to town, pubs, the river, shops and the city centre. Even Charles Dickens stayed her many MANY years ago!"

"Nice room, quiet and very comfortable room overlooking the car park. Oak Room was very good for supper - staff helpful and excellent food. Gym refurbished - all black and brooding. The only improvement staff wise is the spa staff should be more visible on arrival and not on the iPhone in the back room."
