Lovely big room, very quiet. Dinner in the pour was great and breakfast equally so. Would definitely stay there again. Bed very comfy.
I enjoyed my stay. The gentleman at the reception went out of his way to show me and my dog where the public foot path is for me to walk my dog which was a bit of a walk away from the hotel.
Room was spacious and bed was very comfy.
Lovely quiet location. clean large comfortable room. Unfortunately for me they were looking to recruit a new chef but still managed to provide food in the evening and a lovely English breakfast. Very accommodating with friendly staff.
Stopped one night whilst walking the worcestershire way.
Lovely, clean and quiete in the garden room. Food was wonderful and staff were fantastic and could not do enough for you. Genuinely had a great time. Will definitely be back.
The room was beautiful and scrupulously clean. We were welcomed and shown all we needed to know for our stay. The staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and could have stayed longer! We would certainly return for what we know would be another very comfortable and enjoyable visit. Very highly recommended!
Fantastic overnight stay.
Friendly attentive staff, lovely country pub, quiet village location.
Beautifully decorated and well appointed room, large trendy ensuite shower room.
Very tasty food from the restaurant in the evening and gorgeous full English breakfast the next morning.
No pressure at check out time either (11am).
Not far from the M5 too, so good for a stopover if you're on a long journey up/down country.
Very happy with our choice of overnight stay.
I had a really lovely short stay at the Rodney.
My room was in one of the lodges which was a lovely size and impeccably clean.
The only problem was that I did not stay there long enough!
I will definitely go back there without hesitation.
Thank you
Hotel room was lovely clean and modern i ate in the restaurant and but felt quite pressured to pay the bill before I’d even been offered desert or another drink. As soon as the plates were taken away I was told and I quote I’ll have to take for that now, I had to pay the bill straight away apart from that lovely rooms, amazing quiet location

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
This was an unusual stay for me with good things and things needing urgent improvement.
Location: a beautiful, flood-free, idyllic location 20 minutes from central worcester by car. The accommodation was located in log-cabin style blocks in the garden. The decor has recently been updated in a very tasteful way with a large well-fitted shower room. at the bottom of the driveway is a lovely country pub with a delicious menu served every day to 7.30pm ish except mondays. on arrival i was delighted with the place. the bed was very comfortable and large. Pillows were adequate in number. there was a coffee machine and a kettle and some biscuits which made a very welcoming first night. The shower was a good pressure. at night you can hear a pin drop it was so quiet, or more wonderfully two chatty owls living in the garden who cooed away all night. bliss :-).
Day two....There was no room service, no cleaning of room or shower room, the one tiny shower gel tube finished in one shower and despite asking several times, was not replenished. The lack of cleaning, bin emptying or service madethe five night stay feel like a campsite or a hotel with a careless staff or critical understaffing. One night a young family arrived with two toddlers in the car. there was nobody to let them into the room and despite calling and knocking for an hour nobody came to
help.
This is not a three star hotel. If training and staffing could be adddressed, however, it could easily be three stars.
Food was excellent for breakfast and lunch. We also booked a sister hotel recommended by staff for an evening meal, which was awarded a Michelin star recently, and it was delicious and affordable considering the quality of food. I was a bit surprised when we were asked to pay our full bill before we had even seen the condition of the room. In my previous experience elsewhere, we simply handed over a credit card charged at the end of the stay. There was no housekeeping during our stay: a sign on the back of the door said it couldn’t be provided at this time, (we noticed it on our second day after wondering what we’d done wrong!) but if we wanted anything such as clean towels, clean cups or shampoo, we only had to ask. A brown paper bag was left outside the room after our first night with toilet roll and top ups for tea and coffee that we brought in, but no biscuits or clean cups and we made our own bed anyway. If I had known, I would have brought along some basics to keep the toilet clean, or perhaps a bottle beside it for us to freshen it up. On the second night, we saw someone cleaning the rooms but only ones vacated to get ready for the next people coming. The third night we asked for towels and toiletries. This was my only disappointment with the Rodney, and I’m sure it will be explained as standard policy. If I had known about the lack of housekeeping, we may not have chosen it. People tend to come away for a complete break after all. Perhaps make it clear on website?
