I was in bits when the ambulances arrived and the staff really really looked after me. I can't thank them enough. My partner remains in a coma but is going to recover. The staff at the thistle hotel were trained in first aid and saved her life. Thistle hotels will be top of my list."

"The hotel let itself by not having a high chair for our 6 month old baby at breakfast. Breakfast was quite quiet yet they didn’t have more than 2x high chairs in the whole hotel. It meant we had to hold our baby while trying to eat breakfast. Shame, as we were looking forward to a nice breakfast where we could relax. "

"This is my second time staying here and has always been very good. It was still good, but I was disturbed alot by the neighbour next door talking incredibly loudly on his phone. Also, I would have liked to not receive an email the day before I am due to check out, asking me to check out online. I think it takes away from your experience of being away if it feels like the hotel is rushing you to check out. "
