"Lovely little 3 night break with my partner for her birthday. Had some lovely birthday touches thrown in which were very much appreciated. Lovely grounds, excellent property and lovely hot tub. Very comfortable and clean. Oh and… we aren’t very good at Tennis but, we gave it a go and you will find all of the tennis balls in the owners back garden (sorry!). Would definitely recommend! "The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available."
