Room was spotless very impressed had extras we did not expect. Staff extremely helpful. Had a slight hiccup with a family festival meal order but that was sorted out with efficiency and speed. Would definitely come back for our next trip to family

Such a stunning g historic building . Delicious supper & friendly professional staff
The style, history & decor of the building the pleasant friendly helpful staff delicious food little extras lovely area sea views could see Isle of Man & coast o Scotland but also close to the lakes would love to go again
We had a lovely stay here, the staff were all lovely and our room with jacuzzi bath was fabulous. You should have dinner if you stay it was very good, big portions and reasonably priced. They also have electric car chargers.
We decided to book a last minute break for one night but the hotel was so lovely and friendly we decided to stay another night. Lovely food and great breakfast. Definitely recommend.
Hotel full of character, food was very good, excellent sunday roast and breakfast, and the staff were very efficient and friendly.
Our room (Smeaton) was in the old section of the hotel, accessed by a narrow spiral stone staircase, with a low oak beam splitting the room in two, unfortunately poor weather meant rain and wind hitting the not so insulated roof was very noisy and made the room cold.
We would stay again but in a different room!
My stay at this fantastic, historic hotel was truly exceptional from start to finish. From the genuinely warm welcome to the outstanding food, every aspect was a delight. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. My spacious, well-kept room, complete with a wonderfully comfortable four-poster bed, ensured a perfect night's sleep. This unique establishment is undoubtedly one of the best hotels I've had the pleasure of staying. Highly recommended.
Beautiful location but sadly let down by cleanliness in the bathroom: hair & bits of dog biscuit on the floor near the loo. The room was stunning but tired, ripped / warn / tired room interior. Milk off we believe for breakfast no 1. Lovely staff but using a custom outside corridor as a staff smoking / chill out area was less than ideal. Plus’s points; Beautiful location, electric car charging, breakfast was generally very tasty, friend staff.
This is a superb hotel, I was met with a very warm greeting, all of the staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough. My room (Le Meschin) was huge with a superbly comfortable four poster bed and a multi-function shower in the en suite that was perfect after my day of cycling. Food was great, location excellent, I have already recommended to friends

Liked: Cleanliness
Hall is looking tired on the outside with visable broken and boarded up windows at the very top. Room was dated, we stayed in the Munro studio, no windows that open and looks directly onto the back entrance so needed to keep blinds down otherwise people could see straight in as this is a ground floor room. Opposite kitchen so could smell the cooking. What made this stay was the lovely staff and evening meals were great

I had a wonderful stay at Moresby Hall. Idyllic scenery and friendly, helpful staff. Food was filling and standard so no surprises on the menu. As a solo traveller I was disappointed to have limited dining opportunities in walking distance. Beautiful historic building.
From the warm welcome to the delicious food served, I loved every moment of my stay at this fantastic and unique hotel, steeped in history and character. My room was spacious and well kept, boasting a super comfy bed that ensured a great night's sleep. Without a doubt, this establishment ranks highly among the best hotels I have had the pleasure of staying, and I hope to make a return visit soon.
What a beautiful looking hotel, with the staff and new owners to match, my stay at the hotel was a very special one, celebrating my 60th birthday, the owner Steph and her lovely family made me feel very special. Thank you so much for your hospitality, wish you all the best for the future.
