"We stayed in The White House for a celebratory weekend. It was perfect for our 4 generations of family. Ample space, wonderfully comfortable bedrooms, all with Ensuite bathrooms which gave everyone the privacy they wanted. The kitchen is a delight, the hub of the house, while the main lounge was ideal for cosy chats by the fire and hosting lots of family games. We enjoyed the pool room immensely too and the snug gave everyone the opportunity to watch their favourite teams on the TV. Although our weather was poor the location is ideal for walking to the beach and exploring lovely Bembridge. We also enjoyed games of Molkey in the garden which was secure and private. All in all, we loved our time at The White House and cannot recommend it highly enough."

"Great cottage and host. Marion is very welcoming and responsive as a host and the cottage is a perfect home. We love Bembridge - great walks and fabulous amenities especially the bakery! We look forward to our next visit."

"Spacious house for 8 adults, enough cutlery and condiments to dine in. Loved the proximity to the sea and comfortable beds. Plenty to do in Sandown and the beach was lovely. The biggest shame for us was the privacy glass. We chose this house for the views as my mother had an operation and needed to rest while we had fun. She couldn’t see the sea at all unless she stood up-other properties in the same block had clear glass. There was everything you needed except oven gloves and a hand towel, you wouldn’t think to bring these."

"The rooms where perfect and clean. The bar staff where friendly and helpful. I only marked it down to 3 stars as the booking stated they had a restaurant and didn't. "

"Lovely place but we visited at the coldest time of the year and the heating could have been much more powerful. An EV charger or two would have been very helpful here but I think perhaps I’m asking a bit too much here. "
