Perfect location
But overall filthy conditions
Building rundown..disgusting all around..tub and shower not fit to bathe an animal...seriously should be boarded up
Or torn down completely
Never will stay there again
Very outdated. Not clean, every part of this hotel but specifically the rooms need deep cleaned and renovated. The beds were not comfortable likely due to really old mattresses. The employees that stayed there said it felt like they were staying in a "slum" hotel. We will be staying at a different hotel for the remainder of the work we have to do in Wheeling.
I don’t expect much for $65 per night, but I do expect cleanliness. The room condition was in all aspects deplorable! Bathroom sink spit up huge chunks of green and black slime every time you turn the water on. Mold and mildew everywhere in the room. I had to clean the toilet before I could use it. Front desk clerk just shrugged his shoulders, no apologies, no concern. I’m 50 years old and travel often, by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
We stayed here because all the other hotels were sold out. The place is dirty, smelled of mildew and overall was disgusting. The bathtub/shower was filthy so we waited till we got home to shower.
Dead bugs on bathroom floor, cigarette burns all over carpet and in bathroom on tub!I was attending a concert at the Capital Theater, and this hotel was right next to it. Vending machines were empty and there was mold in my plastic ice bucket! I'll give it 2 🌟 just for location.
Havent seen a maid in a few days. Ive taken out my own trash, had to call a few times regarding getting fresh towels. My soiled towels were picked up couple days ago. No breakfast is offered here and hasnt been for over 10 yrs. The travelocity site says otherwise. The only plus is the lowest rate in the area. Im ready to fet out after being here a week. Some staff are not people friendly oriented. I feel unwelcome here.
This was the worst place I have ever seen. I would have rather slept on a park bench. The rooms smelled old, dirty. Carpet was torn. Bed bugs were found on the sheets. There were prostitution going on. Very bad place and needs to be condemned.

The stay was fine the hotel just needs some upgrades but the staff are very friendly!! They always made sure we had what we need
The property and the rooms were in terrible shape, almost condemnable. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar like advertised. And the only thing they offer is coffee that tastes very old and stale with some generic powdered creamer and sugar. The windows were all cracked and dirty. The carpets are in raggedy shape. There are cigarette burns all over the room, floor, carpets, dresser, nightstand and especially the bathtub and sink area. The elevator had a rotten smell as did the hallway. It was completely dirty everywhere. There were even large filled trash bags sitting in the lobby.
This is by far the worse place I have ever seen. I would not even make this place a dog shelter
My husband and I didn’t even stay we was literally at the hotel for 5 minutes or less. The room they tried to put us literally had curtains hanging off the windows we never even opened the door we looked in the window the carpets and the bed were disgusting.
Housekeeping had pajamas on cleaning the rooms with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth.
Travelocity I have used several times but now I’m not so sure if they are going to have a place like this. The pictures are lies . They had homeless people sitting in the lobby. One man came off the elevator with just pants on no shirt or shoes getting coffee right in the lobby. Their was trash in hallways. I hope this helps the next person. Travelocity needs to take this motel off their site.
you definitely get what you pay for! the best part is the view of the river and both bridges - the sun sets beautifully behind the hills on the other side of the ohio.
room itself wasn't awful - had seen a lot of reviews suggesting there were bedbugs and other pests, this was not my experience. nor was there a significant odor of cigarettes in the room. the sink and the shower were both clean and the mini fridge was in fine shape.
not to say the room was in pristine condition. for instance, there was a small handprint burned(?) into the rug of my room, there was plenty of dust and dirt in the corners and the toilet could use a more rigorous once over. still, the location is walkable, the staff was accommodating and i never felt unsafe at any point in the motel or the surrounding area.
that being said, i'm a fairly low maintenance guy in his late 20's who needed a room in a pinch and the knights inn worked fine for 2 nights. i wouldn't necessarily recommend it to families with young children or people with more discerning tastes than i.
full disclosure - i dig leave my bags outside the room as i went in and to do a pretty thorough check of the room with a flashlight for those alleged bed bugs. can't be too careful.

The rooms were a little outdared. But fot the price were ok. Close to wheeling casino.
Dirty carpet and linen. Window curtain is half broken. Dirty windows. No hangers. V v bad smell in the room. My worst experience ever. Will not recommend to anyone. It clearly mentioned on the site "Breakfast" served here. When I asked about it, they said they donot serve breakfast here. Donot go to nice pics and false advertising. Its not worth it.
For the price it wasnt that bad. It appeared to be clean. The place is a really OLD building and it shows!! There was no breakfast and the wifi was very spoty! But for just a place to sleep for the nite was not that bad. Have stayed in worse.
This place is like a dumpster. Items that should have been discarded years ago are still in use or crammed into every nook and cranny. It's a real shame a property like this is allowed to operate right next to a National Landmark with a million dollar view! I did not stay, grabbed my stuff and left.
Stained sheets! Door wouldn't close completely/kept sticking.at the top. When the heater kicked on it made a loud whining sound making it impossible to sleep.
