Mandy’s place was welcoming and cosy and perfect for an easy beach getaway. Lots of fans for warm nights and being able to open up all the windows was so lovely. So close to the beach and corner store. Highly recommend!
Beautiful part of Coromandel, walking distance to beach and an easy drive to other areas - Hahei, Whitianga, hot water beach. House was suited to our needs 2 adults & 4 children. Friendly & timely communication from host. Overall a fantastic holiday.
This bach is super cute and in a perfect location for New Chums Beach and exploring the Coromandel. The house itself is very retro which I love, but that extends to old beds and appliances etc so be aware of that when booking.
Perfect spot to relax for a weekend away from the city. The house is incredibly charming, we loved all the tasteful crafts and art. Early morning swims in the crystal clear water at Whangapoua then around the rocks to New Chums for the afternoon. Stunning weather, beautiful bird song, I can't recommend this place enough. We will be back for sure. Paradise!
Relaxed, chill, true blue batch styles. Lovely established grounds, 2 decks & through breeze an added bonus. Super location, just a hop skip & jump from the stunning main beach, New Chums end estuary & shop with everything you might need to get by & more. Thanks for sharing! Ngā mihi 🏖
Easily fits 6 people, without being in each others space and face, there are enough corners and curtains to get some quiet time. Tastefully kept in 70s style and there was something for everybody, games, books, puzzle. The house and the tasteful space and contents entertained everybody in our party which had an age range from 10-year-old to 79-year-old. Beach less than 5 minutes stroll, as well as the start to New Chums walk.
A gem, saved as favourite for sure.
This lovely wee quirky A-Frame gem was the perfect base for us to spend afew relaxing days.
The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to keep hungry bellies fed. Super comfy beds to get that beauty sleep after busy days wandering the beach and the lovely local area.
Perfectly located right near easy beach access and just a short stroll to a nice little playground for any kids. The weather really turned it on for us, but we were pleased to see a good collection of books and board games if the predicted rain had decided to arrive.
Well stocked with extra blankets for when the nights are bit chilly.
Plenty of birdlife swinging through to visit the backyard, even a Kereru having a bit of an upside down munch on the berries of one of the palms right infront of us, a real highlight for our daughter to see.
All in all this was a perfect little spot for us to escape the rat race for afew days and we wouldnt hesitate to come and visit again.
Check-in was easy with good comms and nice touch with the home made jam! Quintessential original Kiwi bach. Close to the New Chums track and the ever magnificent Whangapoua beach.
