Everything was as we expected. Great staff, friendly bar and a great steak night. Not forgetting a fabulous breakfast. The only negative were the impressive bird droppings on my windscreen after I made the mistake of parking under the trees in the car park. Long journey to Tesco Wellingborough to find a car wash!

Very welcoming. We were attending a wedding anniversary of friends. Food excellent and service amazing. Everyone really helpful. Room great, all one level and near to dining area. Would definitely visit again if we are up this way.

A perfect stay - friendly welcoming staff, well equipped room with hugh fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. Amazing dinner menu at affordable prices, good breakfast selection. The hotel is updated, the grounds are immaculate. Decor in the dining area an bars is bright, modern and comfortable. Internet had a few hiccups, and desk in room was a little small but, aside from this we would return in a heartbeat.

A great discovery

We found this hotel to be everything we needed for an overnight stay. The rooms have been recently refurbished and are well appointed. We had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant, and the breakfast was great. Would definitely consider staying again.

Good hotel.

Everything was fine. WiFi first night was good,second night not so good. As I’m not a business traveller it was nothing to worry about,otherwise the stay at the Stanwick was very good.

Pleasantly surprised

It's a nice boutique-type small hotel that satisfies travellers' needs. Unfortunately, I was not able to lock my door from inside or outside, and the floor needed proper cleaning, not just vacuuming. Otherwise, it's all good.

A little hidden gem with beautiful gardens and grounds really attentive and friendly staff. The food was very good quality and plentiful. We were in room nine which had a terrace and balcony overlooking part of the garden from the main house couldn’t of asked for more. No Aircon but there was a fan in the room.
