This is me and my wife's favorite place to stay when we want a staycation. The mixologist on staff is amazing (if you are into mixed drinks), and the hotel is so close to many of our favorite restaurants in the area. So walkable, yet off the beaten path. As a lover of books, getting to take books home is a bonus. We stay here at least 2 times a year.

Being an Autograph Hotel,I was a bit disappointed. The location is unbeatable but there is no place to park on your own. Valet is $45 a night, too pricey for me! There is a nice fountain in front of the hotel that is in a desperate need of paint and the front door looks a little rough. Otherwise, very clean,nice staff, nice breakfast $25, and a small bar. I would stay here again for the location.

A nice hotel in a nice area. Friendly staff but it took over 30 minutes to check-in because of issues with the last minute reservation I made through Expedia. The night staff required making a copy of my drivers license and credit before I received a room key.

Derrick, an amazing piano player and singer, serenaded us in the bar. He is there Thursday and Friday evenings and well worth a visit. The bartender was great also. Exceptionally kind service.

The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. They seemed to genuinely care about our comfort. My husband is handicapped and they were extra attentive to his needs. I’m not fond of the redecoration of the interior but it’s still a lovely place.
