Great place for the price they go for. Lady at the front desk was really nice and got my room an hour before my actual check in time. Would definitely recommend to anyone not wanting to pay expensive ocean view rooms. Beach is like 15 minutes walking.

Great Price Nice Room

I really enjoyed my stay at Ambassadors Inn. The room was nice a the bed was comfy. Hot shower 🚿😁 and Air conditioner got the room very cool. Big refrigerator and good microwave. No breakfast though. Staff was super friendly. Close to Virginia Beach. (5 min) Drive.

It is conveniently located near the beach. They were very accommodating. They let us do a late check out. They don’t clean your room for your stay and if you are going to the beach that is necessary.

This property left much to be desired. They take advantage of their location and spike prices, as most places do; however, they could at least vacuum carpets or offer bedding that is not burned and torn.

Perfect hotel just off the beach.

Hotel was great. Pool was great. You could throw a rock across the street and hit the convention center. And 3 block walk to the beach My only complaint would be the fighter jets that are landing at the base fly right over. A they are landing so they are extra low and extra loud. But nothing against the hotel. They can’t help that.

Clean, safe, affordable

This was a good, clean, safe hotel. Especially for the price. I was traveling alone, so feeling safe was important. They did get my reservation wrong (I reserved a non-smoking, but they put me in a smoking.) Luckily, he clarified before I got to my room, and he fixed it. I already made reservations for my next stay here.

The key for the room wasn’t working every time I had to take it to the front desk to reset it The floor at the pool had mold and that wasn’t safe or the cleanses but the pool was great it will be good if they do an update to the rooms the bathrooms curtains need replacement asap

The room & bathroom size were HUGE for the price range. However there ants crawling around the sink/vanity, there was no hot water, the drainage of the sink was horrible, and there were holes in the bathroom ceiling. The staff was friendly & helpful and the property was safe. Would use again but with lower expectations.

I was a little skeptical about this property because of all of the negative reviews. It was really nice and clean. The only issue I had was the bath mat. I went to Walmart and got some spray bleach just to make sure it was clean to my liking. Overall, everything was great. This is an older property but its been well maintained, the bathrooms could use an update.
