The room was clean and cleaned everyday. The beach was beautiful and they had a nice pool. Not much for amenities. There's no restaurant or bar but they do offer to take food orders and stock the room. We chose to go out to eat. I would recommend renting a car as there is nothing within walking distance or even close.

Nala was awesome, very helpful and responsive, and advised me on a good restaurant when I arrived. Beautiful beach and great location... Great Sunset!!!! Only comments: It be good to have a Restaurant there, and a Gym room. Also, better coffee in the room.

Wonderful experience at Mango Bay Resort! We stayed for 5 days in the Beachfront Suite. We enjoyed the beach, paddling/kayaking every morning, or just lounging. The grounds are beautiful and the pool was very nice too. We loved the outdoor kitchen. It was very convenient as some restaurants were closed due to low seasonality. The staff has nice and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Best experience I have ever had!

I had to check in late due to a late flight with my flight. I called the front desk, and they said no problem, we will see you here when you arrive. When I arrived I was met at the parking lot with smiles. The nice lady helped me carry the pizza that I had gotten on the way and she walked me directly to my room. I was so impressed with how kind she was. The communication was excellent, the room was perfect, and the grounds were stunning. I rate it 5 stars!

Interior step to bathroom a real liability for fal

The hotel is located far from restaurants etc. so you must have a rental car or rely on calling taxis to take you shopping for food etc. Also, the maid staff did not replenish the courtesy coffee and milk etc each day-but did come and make the bed etc. Also, our room had a step down immediately coming out of the bathroom, which caused me to fall and injure my knee one afternoon so then we had to keep the light on at night for fear of more falls.

During our 5 day stay our room was made twice but tea and coffee was not replenished and there was no shampoo in the apartman at all. On the bright side fridge worked fine including its ice-maker part. TV worked only occasionally with Netflix, nothing else. Garden and beach was kept immaculate and beautiful. No restaurant at all, yet one could buy every needed in stores about 2 Mi away and the island has some acceptable or even good (e.g. Chez Bamboo near the Ferry Harbour) for acceptable prices.

Mango Bay Resort was the perfect 'escape' holiday for me. I was looking for a quiet, beautiful, and peaceful place to decompress over the holidays. Mango Bay was absolutely perfect. The grounds are very well kept, beautiful native plants abound, and butterflies were everywhere during my stay which added the the magical experience. The beach is exceptional: it is quiet, clean, and was never crowded. I was solo traveling and intentionally selected Mango Bay given it seems to geared towards couples and families vs. singles and young adults looking to 'party'. I was not disappointed. I chatted with a few families with well behaved and polite kids, and chatted with the few couples as well -- everyone was super friendly. The staff was fantastic as well: groundkeepers/house keepers were quite friendly, and the office staff can give you a great deal of information on local excursions, transportation, etc. The general manager even dropped my off at the airport on the day I was leaving! I can not really say enough positive about Mango Bay. It is a special place and I was pained to leave. I will definitely come back again!

Wonderful Resort!

Excellent value

A well landscaped and manacured villa community with quality details everywhere. A few short steps to a lovely, quiet coral-strewn bay with excellent snorkeling. I let the staff arrange a car rental (with the best rate) and I was met at the airport on my arrival --couldn't have been easier. This is an "entertain yourself" experience and I enjoyed cooking each day with wonderful maid service. My stay was quiet and pleasant the way I like it but it looks like they can accommodate all kinds of travelers without imposing on quiet ones like me! Couples, families, and a family reunion happening while I was there and it was never an issue.

Quiet Resort with private beach

Loved this little peace of paradise it was very quiet hardly saw anyone even though it was full. Private beach with kayaks and pool floated. There is a reef protecting the bay so water is very calm. We stayed in a garden room the only thing I could say was a little downside was the Internet wasn't the greatest but if I stood by the window it was ok.

We loved our visit and would recommend to others. Upon arrival we were wowed with the floral grounds and the very nice added touch of cut flower vases on the kitchen table and coffee table as well as flower springs on the towels in the bathroom. The resort was very comfortable and laid back atmosphere. We enjoyed relaxing in the beach chairs and having the option to snorkel, kayak, float or walk on the beach within steps of our studio. The resort helped with reserving a rental car and would have stocked our refrigerator if requested.

Mango Bay....the best...is what we say!!

First of all, Gino and his staff are the BEST....our villa was beautiful....right on the water...staff attended to any needs we had...immediately...............! Mango Bay exceeded our expectation....quiet and a little piece of heaven right on the water....can't wait to go back!

I have never been to a vacation location where fellow guests were disinclined to even say hello. If you are looking for peace and quiet and a nice beach and being left alone this is the place. The screens do not keep out the mosquitoes but the place is clean and charming

Quality Family time and Rest and Relaxation

We went to Mango Bay over Thanksgiving break. This was our first time to the BVI. The beach on this resort was amazing! There were 8 of us traveling. Four adults and four children ages 13, 11, 4, 1. We snorkeled everyday right from the shore. There is no pool and no need for one. Our kids felt very comfortable being in the ocean playing every day. The beach is clean and the water is crystal clear and warm. No need for aqua shoes at this beach since it isn't rocky and there is sand from the shore all the way in. We have been to many beaches in our travels and this was one of the best! Very calm even for their stormy season. While we were there it felt like it was our own personal beach. There were no crowds like all inclusive resorts. We didn't see the moon once. It must have been on the other side of the island. There wasn't a cloud in the sky at night making the star gazing incredible. The sunsets are beautiful. We never felt the need to go anywhere else when we were here except to shop for groceries, because the beach and rooms are perfectly comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Gino and Kaya made this vacation one of the most memorable trips we have ever taken. We have been spreading the word ever since we got back home. The one thing I would use more of is mosquito repellent. Maybe citronella candles for the outdoor dinning. Oceanview is the best way to go at this place. The view is breathtaking! WE WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK!!
