Hotel is near more residential areas of Vienna, but that's exactly what we wanted. It's well connected to transport with 2 U-Bahn lines about 5-10 mins walk away, and a few major tram lines. Great property, I really appreciate the high ceilings and really nice lighting fixtures.

This hotel was better than expected - truly beautiful, large, cozy and convenient. Breakfast was delicious, coffee was wonderful, vibe was great. It was quiet while also walkable to the exciting parts of the city - very close to the City Hall and mass transit. We were able to walk most places and there are some lovely restaurants, bars and coffee shops very nearby.

great hotel at a great location! the room was huge and the bed was comfortable! the only awkward thing was the shower, my shared room had a private shower, hidden with a wall, but my parents shower was facing the bed. Request a hidden side facing shower if sharing room with non partner.

Location is excellent : off main street near Volksteater,In quiet residential area only ten minute walk to Kunsthistorisches Museum or Natural History Museum, Fifteen minutes to Vienna State Opera.Near Hofburg, walkable to restaurants including innere stadt . Near Mariahilfe St.Is not a luxury hotel is a simple hotel but has a luxury breakfast with choices breads,cheeses smoked fish excellent coffee. Helpful staff . Avoid Austrian restaurants nearby go to Greek restaurant Trilogie 3 minutes from hotel. Interior decor modern in very old building with original metal housing for elevator( elevator itself is new).

We loved our stay at the Rathaus Wein & Design hotel. The hotel was very chic, gave such an elegant vibe, the room was very spacious, and the location so close to many restaurants, shops, and many of the major monuments. The staff was truly wonderful. They were very helpful and so friendly. They took the time to help us feel welcome and comfortable. Julika at the front desk was very sweet and super friendly. She went above and beyond to help us with questions, suggestions, local tips, and always had a friendly smile to help with anything we needed. The gentleman that worked with her was great too. Thank you so much Rathaus team. You truly made our stay in Vienna wonderful. :)

This is a wonderful boutique hotel in a terrific, convenient neighborhood of Vienna. The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful; we made a last-minute reservation and called in the morning to let them know we’d be arriving early, and they arranged to have our room cleaned and ready for us to check in immediately. We really appreciated it.

Staff was very helpful with laundry, taxi booking and ironing board and the hotel was much better than I thought, and affordable. The room was simplistic but had everything I needed at it felt spacious. I slept well there and the breakfast was good! Towels could be a little bigger. Check in and check out was smooth although they said online I couldn’t check in earlier than 2 but it seemed I could when I got there
