Hotel Domizil is perfectly located in Vienna. It is centrally located and very close to everything. The staff are very friendly, our room was very nice and clean. It is a vintage hotel and has all the charm of a quaint European hotel.
Rooms were fairly noisy at times (you could hear people above you and to the side of you). Hotel was very handy though and staff welcoming. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. I would stay again if coming back to Vienna.
Location is superb, close to the St. Stephen cathedral, on a very quiet street.
Clean, cozy, with oversized bads and rooms.
The breakfast was good.
We will definitely recommend the place.
An older European hotel just off Stephanplatz. Decent breakfast spread, very friendly front desk and breakfast staff. Rooms good size for European standards. A/C did not appear to be working, but windows opened and weather cooperated.
Very nice place to stay in the heart of where you want to be but also just far enough away from the noise of the streets and squares. I would stay here again.
We were only in Vienna for one night so wanted to stay right in the centre of the tourist area and this location was excellent! It's less than one minute walk to St Stephens Cathedral and the furthest we walked for "tourist activities" was 10 minutes from the hotel. The hotel is easy to get to on the metro. The staff were freindly, and happy to keep our bags after check-out for free which was very helpful. After check-out we spent the day in Vienna and picked our bags up at 6pm. The hotel was clean, breakfast was good and plentiful. I felt the hotel was a little expensive but it is due to the central location. If you are staying in Vienna for one night, I highly recommend this hotel. If you are staying multiple nights I recommend finding a slightly cheaper hotel, to save some money, and taking the metro into the centre. There was nothing "special" about this hotel except the central location.
