"Really lovely place to be. The interiors are rustic, and feel like I'm staying at a someone's house. Not a bad thing at all though! We also enjoyed being greeted by a friendly cat (the cat was the star of the show). I would LOVE to come back and stay again. The area is beautiful and this would be a lovely place to use as a base to explore from."

"The house was clean, rooms were nice. Good full kitchen. But there is no emergency contact for the property. And it is middle of nowhere. "

"Nice decor but breakfast was a rip off. Was supposed to be a buffet. We were instead left with a plate in the fridge to share between 3 of us and butter nor milk were available. Upon querying about butter, we were told that they had run out of it ! "

"Arrived very jet lagged with no one to check in, no help. Room had sand and hairs on bed. Small. Very small town and long drive to the cliffs. Shortened my stay (already too long) and no refund. Worth less than half charged. Best thing about town was seafood pizza in grocery store (which hotel did nothing to help me find). Very unusual for me in my iceland experience. "

"Unfortunately the owner was unable to accommodate us, but did not communicate this with us. Only when we arrived and found it dark/closed up and reached out to him did we find out. He was very apologetic, but this lack of communication left us scrambling for a place to stay and an extra hour of driving. Not ideal. "

"Professional and friendly staff! Easy check in process. Food was tasty and delicious. Location is excellent for exploring the area. Rooms were clean and well kept. Quiet place for sleeping. Thanks"
