"The host was very responsive to any and all questions I had. The apartment was cold when I first arrived and took a while for the heaters to bring it up to a comfortable cozy temperature, but once there quite comfortable. The train and bus stations are very close by for my arrival and departure from Bergen. I walked everywhere from the apartment and there were shops nearby to get some supplies for meals. It is a very quiet location and I would definitely stay here again. it is the top floor so...

"The location is great but is up a steep hill or many steps. The street is beautiful, as is the neighbourhood and the bed is comfortable. I’m sure the accommodation was perfect when it was set up but now I think it needs a bit of a retouch as it’s a bit dated. Cleanliness: not ideal. When we arrived there was old food left in the fridge, food stains on the wall and old food left on the scrubbing brush. Furniture: the aim is clearly for a cozy feel but the organisation could be vastly improved....

"Great place slightly removed from the noisy city center (~30-minute walk through interesting neighborhoods—we like to walk!—or 14 minutes by easy public transport) with a local neighborhood feel, a pretty river close by, and convenient services (grocery stores, an excellent bakery). Bergen can have a chill in the mornings and evenings, being close to so much water, so we were extremely happy to feel the ambient heat under our feet.
