One perfect night in Verona

We spent one night at Accommodation Verona to attend opera at the amphitheater. The location was ideal, Federico allowed us to check in in the morning, so we could leave our luggage and sightsee. Our room was comfortable and cool. The bus stop was literally downstairs so an easy commute to the train station. What more could we want?

Property was clean and conveniently located only a block from the arena and close to taxi and bus service at Piazza Bra. There were 3 problems: 1-Expedia listed a non-working phone number for the property. I therefore could not contact the property for any late check-in instructions and transfers from the airport as noted in Expedia’s information for the property. 2-Because the property office is open daily from 10a-12p (2-hours) for check-in; I had to change my afternoon flight reservations to an early morning flight to arrive at the property during the 2-hour window for check-in. I arrived in time and checked-in. The manager Frederico, noted I used a wrong number Expedia listed for the property, hence non-response from the property. 3-Regardless of the wrong number listed, it did not explain Expedia’s non-responses to my multiple text and e-mail requests for help. However, once checked-in, the property was wonderful.

Fantastic stay

Absolutely fantastic location for sight seeing. Great restaurant right next door. We were checked in within 20 min of ringing the contact number. Comfortable room, lovely bathroom. Breakfast was an added bonus, very kind gentleman was in the kitchen area for approx. 2 hours, making coffee, serving yogurt, toast etc. Would highly recommend

Good B&B in a great location

The hotel is in a great location, inside the City walls, a 2 minute walk from the Arena and Bra square. The checkin process was easy and communication was great even though it's a B&B and not a 24-hour hotel. The room was comfortable enough and the breakfast was good. Overall a great stay and a good value for your money.

Vicinissimo al centro, buon rapporto qualità /prezzo. Le uniche note negative: - televisore TROPPO piccolo e posizionato troppo in alto; - l'interruttore della luce singola per ogni letto e quello della luce della stanza posizionati troppo in alto per cui stando coricati non era possibile azionari, bisogna alzarsi dal letto!!! - scarsa pulizia dei ripiani presenti lungo le pareti.

Accueil attentionné et de qualité Le b&b est idéalement situé à 100m des arènes. La chambre est moderne bien aménagée et climatisée La propreté de la sdb était moyenne et nous n avions que 2 gels douche pour 3. Le pdj à 3€50 ne vaut pas plus. Ne pas hésiter à les contacter pour les tarifs 😉

Per quel che riguarda la pulizia nulla da dire anche per gentilezza e cortesia ricevuta. In bagno arriva poca acqua calda e i saponi sono miseri. In cucina sarebbe meglio l’acqua nelle bottiglie, abbiamo trovato qualche nutella scaduta e il succo di arancia non assaggiato perché non dava garanzia della freschezza.

Pleasant stay.

First of all, this is not a hotel. It is a pretty typical for Europe bed and breakfast styled apartment. So, don't expect a 24 hour reception desk. This was not a problem for us, since the apartment manager provided us with his contact information, and we notified him about our after hours arrival time. We were charged 15 Euro for late arrival. The property is pet friendly. We had two large dogs with us, for which we were charged around 10 Euro per dog. The parking was available in the garage for a fee of around 15 Euro. One interesting thing about the garage: because of a very limited space available in the old town, the property owners had to be very creative about the garage arrangement. You have to get your car in the elevator, which then takes you to the basement where you park your car. With this arrangement we felt pretty secure that no one would be able to break into our car. WiFi was sufficiently fast. The breakfast was nothing special. There was a limited choice of cold cereal, breakfast pastries, cookies, yogurt, juice, fruit, and coffee in a tiny common kitchen area. Our room was spacious and clean. The manager was pleasant and helpful. The best thing about this property is its location literally within an arms reach from the old Roman arena. All the historical sites, entertainment, and dining options were within steps from the apartment. We enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to others.
