I'm going to start with the good... Location was great. Not too far of a walk from bus stop over the bridge. Most of the major attractions are in an easy walking distance away. There were lots of restaurants to choose from right outside your hotel door. The room waw old, but everything perfectly functional. I thoutht the old part added character personally. The bed was comfortable and shower worked fine. House keeping came everyday to clean.
My main complaint really is how impossible it was to find this hotel. They didn't have anything up for a sign saying "Lovely Appartments" or anything indicating I found the hotel. Because apparently I found the hotel first try; I was right outside the main door, but I had no idea. I tried calling the hotel multiple times, but they never answered the phone. Finally I was able to figure out on my own that it was the hotel, and i miraculously figured out their weird key system to get through the gate and door. Then I get to my room and the keys to my room are just sitting inside the door so that anyone can grab them or go into my room. This is a huge security risk! What if someone was waiting inside my room? What if someone stole things out of my room and I get blamed for it? What if someone just takes my room (on purpose or accident)? I couldn't get ahold of the staff, so what could I do then? This hotel needs to get its act together and start acting like a hotel.
