  • My dad's friend owns a really cool karting circuit in Pageas, a few kilometres from Chalus where I grew up in France. They are both hunters. I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, but a lot of people from that generation in rural France do like hunting, fishing, fetching mushrooms. There are woodlands all around the karting circuit. My dad and his friend have built some platforms in the trees, and from mid-October to mid-November they go there every morning to shoot migrating birds. Those ones are some sort of wood pigeons going from Eastern Europe / Russia to North Africa. I did my own shooting that morning... with my camera! The sunrise was spectacular with some nice pink colours and mist in the valley.

Très belle demeure très très calme

Magnifique maison située dans un village charmant très calme. Le logement est très grand et très bien équipé. Nous n'avons pas profité du jardin, mais tout est bien entretenu. Literie confortable. Cuisine bien équipée.

Très belle location !

Très grande et belle maison. Beaucoup d'équipements et d'activité possibles. Grande piscine, jardin spacieux à côté. Terrasse très agréable. Super calme, en bord d'un petit village magnifique. Boulangerie à pied à 2 min, boucherie, pharmacie et superette au village suivant à 6 km, supermarché à la plus grande ville de Nontron (15-18 min en voiture). Propriétaires très agréables, ainsi que les habitants du village. Bref, on a passé une très bonne semaine à 7 dans cette location. Sophie Mauffrey
