Rose Garden room rental
Our stay in Richmond was a room/suite inside a large private home. The hosts were friendly and attentive in getting us settled. Easy access in and out, but we had to walk through their house to our room. Very very clean and quiet. Located in an upscale, well maintained neighborhood of spacious homes. Parking was on the street around the corner from the door.
Nice clean ensuite unit. Pleasant owner and friendly family. The only disappointment is that it’s a queen size bed instead of a king bed as in the reservation page. So didn’t get good night sleep for the 3 nights. The bathroom has no heating, so it’s really cold getting up in the middle of the night.
Excellent hosts! Quiet neighborhood and easy to get around, car is a must. Room was perfect with an amazing bathroom and shower. Lots of thoughtful touches in the room and wonderful kitchen to use.
Would definitely recommend and will for sure stay again in the future!
Everything was perfect. Rose is a very nice host. I like the idea that you have to take off your shoes at the entrance. That keeps the whole place cleaner. The only thing i was missing was a tv.
I am planning to stay there again if Rose lets me :)
The property is beautiful, located in a quiet area. The house itself is clean and the owners are genuinely warm. I definitely would be back to that place
Good place to stay especially for couples. Its more of an Air bnb style rather than a hotel. The host was kind and understanding.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The room was awful and the bed was so bad that could give one a backache.
The staff too was horrible in their relationship with us and the property owner was non-understanding. The money paid is not worth it at allnand I regret ever booking the place. I sincerely will NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE to use this place
This was a very nice place to stay, I just wouldn't say it was excellent. The bed was very comfortable but not enough pillows. The bathroom was clean but the tub was slippery and deep so a little precarious. A very busy household with lots of people around doing their thing. They were quiet during the designated times. All in all, well intended and worked for our purposes.
Good stay~ cozy and convenient. No breakfast available but it’s okay. Catherine is very helpful. Very helpful access to washer and dryer ~and microwave and hot water~~~WiFi is not very fast but does its work. Overall, very pleasant stay for 3 nights~

Rather than a 2 star hotel, it would be more accurate to say Airbnb. It says breakfast but there was no breakfast. The room has no heating, it is a bit dark downstairs, and it does not get much sunlight so it does not heat up. We were very cold during our stay. Then we asked for a heater, but it was too small and didn't help much. The smell of food in the house is a bit strong. The bed is high like a water bed and causes back pain after a while. The area is beautiful. Parking is convenient. The house is lively because there are 5 international students. The helper comes in the morning for the kitchen for the international students, it's a bit noisy in the morning. It's a safe place. An average grade would be more fair.
We stayed in Vancouver for a week to attend our daughter’s graduation ceremony at UBC. Although we initially planned to stay downtown to be closer to our daughter's condo, we ended up choosing a place in the suburbs for easier parking and more convenient travel.
Rose Garden turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The house is about 12-15 minutes from Vancouver, so getting around was never an issue. The owners even arranged a free parking spot for us right beside the house, which was a nice touch.
The house itself was very clean and peaceful, thanks to a dedicated housekeeper who took care of everything. The landlord was very professional but, at the same time, incredibly friendly. She was always happy to help with anything we needed. The Wi-Fi was reliable throughout our stay. I managed to join several online meetings during the week without a hitch.
Our room was comfortable, with an en-suite bathroom, a walk-in closet, and a mini fridge. We also had access to a large shared kitchen, which came in handy more than once.
We were genuinely pleased with our stay and will definitely choose this place again the next time we visit Vancouver.
