We really enjoyed our stay, the room is so clean and the staff are so accommodating and friendly that’s why I rate this hotel excellent and well recommended.
My stay was relaxing and the staff was very friendly. It may not be some fancy hotel but thats ok the room was very clean. It had excellent AC and I felt safe. There's also a market right across the street that came in handy. The public bus also picks you up right in front of the hotel that takes you to the downtown area. I do wish it had a stronger water pressure in the shower but not a big deal i stillngive it a 5 out 5
Would definitely stay here again in the future.
Just an overnight stay before an Alaskan cruise. Excellent area with food basics and a dollar store nearby. A pub is next door with good food.
About 4 miles from the port and reasonable price. It’s old but clean.
No elevators - rooms are one floor up; but staff is always willing to bring your bag upstairs. Small room but cozy .

Very helpful staff and good supermarket across the road. Good to have the bus just outside.
Have lived in Van for over 10 years the moved to the valley. Was a show I wanted to see and figured a stay in Van was appropriate. The Waldorf was great. Easy check in, clean room, comfy bed and place to park. Will definitely stay here again next time a show is in town and I need to do so.
I really loved staying here. The hotel is centrally located and so cute! Definitely a lot of vintage character here. You can’t beat free parking, either.
I am from a big city, so I am used to the quirks of a downtown area, so removing my valuables from my car did not phase me.
The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, and I greatly appreciated my check-in gift!
Overall, I would stay here again and probably will make this my regular spot for visits to Vancouver.
There was a bar attached with good food and drink. The area was a bit sketchy. You have a fob to buzz yourself in to the main desk. The rooms were dated and a bit ‘cold’ for style. No face cloths, no shelves in the shower. Tough job getting the TV to work. All in all it was a place to sleep and we felt safe.

Our room could have been cleaner under the bed and around the furniture but overall we were happy. The mattress was comfortable and the bathroom toiletries provided were nice. The surrounding area was not as bad as we read online, and we parked in the public area behind the building with no issues. I would stay here again for the price.

Really clean room and nice staff, would stay again and reccomend.
The room smelled of humidity and felt damp. The toilet seat lid would not stay open and carpeting was awful. Honestly one of the worst hotel stays ever. The staff was friendly and helpful but the hotels needs some serious attention. No Elevator!!!
I'm a local who was staying a night in town and didn't want to spend a fortune on downtown hotels. The reviews of the Waldorf are a mixed bag, so I set my expectations accordingly. Honestly one of the best nights in a hotel in a while. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. I think my only complaint is the window needs more than just the pull down shade.
The staff were great. Very old hotel in a sketchy part of the city. Drag queens at night in the lobby. Very clean, however I would not stay there again because of the area.
Hello, the stay wasn't terrible, room was clean overall despite of foul odor from bathroom, may be due to old age of building or potemically plumbing issues. Staff was able to check us in after late hours of past 9 pm with no issues and available. The worst part that could be improved is the window and street noise of cars, people taking outside, sirens blurring during the night, kept me tossing and restless sleep. If possible and suggesting to consider to have the windows remodeled to double pane, which could reduce the street noise significantly.
Great staff
They helped a lot
But property could have been maintained better.

The condition of the hotel is very poor. Two stories hotel, no elevator. Staff vas helpful moving luggage on the second floor and downstairs, but if you came late or early in the morning you need to carry it by yourself which is very difficult for elderly people for instance.
