The room was small but OK. There was only one towel each - no face-cloth. There were significant renovations going on. The room was uncomfortably hot and the thermostat was not in the area we were staying in. Overall, it was OK for the price we paid. The people working there were friendly.
This place was the definition of unwelcoming. The floors were filthy, and the sheets didn’t seem quite clean either. Shows signs of neglect and disrepair - broken door locks and nonfunctioning dishwasher. Piles of refuse covered with tarps in the side yard. Dirty upholstery on the futon in one room. The other room barely had space for a person to turn around.
This is the property on your block that all the neighbors complain about. Completely overpriced for such a bare bones place.
Water pressure in the shower was good, I’ll give it that. Bathrooms were passably clean - not sparkling but by no means gross.

This is a lovely place in Dunbar Village. It's a grwst location fir exploring the area and xatching public transit into Vancouver. The room and en suite bathroom sizes were good. Overall, clean property, but one of the plugs didn't work and the shower water temperature wod change unexpectedly (it never swung to scakding or freezing, though). The bed was confortable and the curtains definitely closed out any lifht from the street.
The house was nice. Hand towels and Kleenex in the bathroom would have been nice. Also there was a pretty big spider web in the corner of our room.

$165 for a queen bed, shared bathroom and no TV. House looks horrible from outside but better on inside. Over priced Vancouver market is making visiting unaffordable

This is a very nice house with rooms to rent, not what I would consider a hotel. It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. You can reach the center city area on the 7 Bus in about 30 min.
We loved our stay at Dunbar Guest House. It was a great location with super easy access and super friendly people running it. Very easy, very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
It reminded me of a hostel when I was a young traveller. It was a shared bathroom and stark. Not cozy. The property is run down and the first thing you see are garbage cans in the front yard.
