A very special place.Exceeded expectations. The pictures do not do it justice. Getting there is a pain but once there magical. Left to spend more time in SaPa. Should have done the reverse. The weekday restaurant hostess was a special person. Competant engaging fluentand delightful.

Extraordinaire location in the middle of the rice fields and in the northern Vietnam. The hotel staff and the resort restaurant are professional and friendly. A great hub to visit the rice and tea fields and the villages of multiple ethnicities in the area.

Beautiful place with a lot to offer

We had a wonderful stay in an incredibly comfortable room with an outstanding view. The property sits on an incredibly steep hill, which can be accessed by use of their “buggies “or by walking up several flights of stairs and roadway. there are some wonderful bonuses close to the property, including the “fairy cave “and the Mineral Springs. We also enjoyed a rush of a trip on the large zip line located on the property also.

Very Good, but with Room For Improvement

Everything was very good, but not quite a true luxury resort. Maybe a 4 star for sure. Also, the front desk young man bribed us by asking for a 5-star review in order to get complimentary early check-in, which for westerners is totally unacceptable. Hopefully better training is in order. We would come back again though, because it is otherwise a beautiful hotel.

The rooms are large and very, very nice. It’s a very quiet location. There are quite a few steps to get to and from the rooms so be prepared for that. It was a bit tricky at night because some of the lights on the path to the room were out.

We stayed at the Le Champ resort for 3 nights in the end of October and were absolutely enchanted by every aspect of this beautiful destination. As senior travelers first time in Vietnam, we naturally were concerned with many things: how are we going to reach this off the bitten track resort, how to get back to Hanoi without car and so on, as we were looking for comfort, tranquility, and authentic experiences—and Le Champ delivered! From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with warmth and professionalism trying to foresee every need we might have. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making us feel both pampered and at home. Their genuine smiles and readiness to assist added a personal touch that we truly appreciated. We must particularly mention and sincerely thank the office manager Mr. Henry Minh Thien, who took care of us as if we were his long-awaited relatives: he had arranged a bus to Hanoi for us right from the resort, explaining many small details about the surroundings. Our advice to anyone thinking about staying in this wonderful resort is to contact him directly as he speaks fluent English. The culinary experience was wonderful! Dining there was not just eating—it was a cultural journey. Adjacent to the resort is an impressive sports camp that adds a unique and impressive dimension to the stay. We left with desire to return.
