Goed hotel, geluidig

Aan de rand van het historisch centrum, waardoor de afstanden tot bezienswaardigheden iets langer waren. Het hotel is geluidig, het ligt aan een drukke straat en in je kamer hoor je alles wat op de gang gebeurd en ook bij de buren. Ontbijt was prima, leuk dakterras, selecte kaart met lekkere tapas. En een leuke barman!

We hebben een prima verblijf gehad. Hotel ligt in het oude centrum, heel leuk om door dat gedeelte van de stad te wandelen. Ook ligt het tegenover het park. Het hotel is schoon en het personeel uitermate vriendelijk. Ontbijt is eenvoudig, maar wel met veel verse producten. Goed hotel voor een heerlijk verblijf in een fantastische stad!

We were very disappointed with the hotel. The pictures online are very misleading. The staff is lukewarm at best and indifferent to your experience. Location is great. If you book online be sure not to book the economy room and to specify how many beds you want and that you want a window. But we highly recommend choosing a different hotel because for the price there are many other much nicer options. If you have a problem with Blanq Carmen they are completely closed off to helping you solve it. Be sure not to get room 106.

Para corta estancia

La ubicacion es muy buena. Cogimos una super oferta porque la habitacion era interior y en la planta primera, casi sin luz. Pero la idea era poder disfrutar de la playa y de la ciudad y a la vuelta, tener el hotel cerca de todo, propicio para el descanso y un buen desayuno para coger fuerzas. La atención del personal, fenomenal.

The first part of my stay was good. I had to extend my stay for two days and they made me switch rooms even when I asked to keep the same room but they insisted. The problem was that the new room they put me in had a door window that faced a dark wall that couldn’t be opened really since it was by the bed. So basically I was put into a room with no window. I am very disappointed in this hotel especially since it looked like it wasnt alot of guests and there were other available rooms.

Nice modern room. Easy check in. Central to bars shops etc. Tea and coffee in the room with kettle but we weren’t allowed any milk?? We asked at reception for soya milk, no we weren’t allowed any. So we bought our own.

The location was perfect! Also the girls from the reception and breakfast were nice and helpfull. Too bad the rooftop was closed. Stil with this weather -19 degrees in december - it would be nice to sit there. That was one of the reasons we booked this location. It was not om the page from the Booking this was closed. But the rest was perfect!!

Modern, attractive, and affordable

This hotel is very modern, clean, and attractive, especially for the price. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and well-maintained. Al of the front desk help were friendly and polite, too. (And bilingual--important for those of us whose high school Spanish is now very rusty!). Very close to the historic center and within walking distance of everything. It was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our 10 day trip to Spain.

Great location, underwhelming service

The hotel has an excellent location and rooms are clean and modern. Service wasn't very good and any ad hoc requests were dealt with as an inconvenience rather than staff being friendly and helpful. Simple requests like Milk, ice, glasses for room were met with, milk in a small cup, no ice, plastic thin glasses. One member of our family was unhappy with room size, when we discussed with reception, it was a like it or lump it attitude. Rooftop bar was closed during our stay.
