"Cook’s Bay is one of the most wonderful places we’ve ever stayed, and we’ve stayed at many fantastic places around the world. The staff was amazingly nice. The rooms were spotless. The beds were very comfortable. The air-conditioning worked. The showers were hot. The towels were first class. Most important for us was the amazing snorkeling right off the edge of the property and the amazing views of the beautiful mountains of Moorea. We saw sharks, turtles and rays along the beautiful coral reef...

"Make clear to guests that beach is not conducive to swimming due to very low depth and coral that scrapes the hands and feet when trying to swim. I was mislead and persevered until I realized that depth was not going to change."

The beach is small but it has plenty of chairs and shade. We didn’t spend any time in the pool since we mostly snorkeled and paddled when we were there. The fish in the reefs in the lagoon by the hotel were vibrant and worth every cent. We didn’t take a separate snorkeling tour in Moorea like we had to in Bora Bora be a use this hotel...

"We had an evening on the island, coming from Moorea and decided to give this a try. Zero regrets! We aren’t in peak season, so the privacy and layout of the hotel felt like home rental. Gorgeous views, clean and spacious rooms, and the staff are kind and warm. Perfect alternative and views, than staying in the heart of the city of Pepeete"

"The views were awesome, we had bungalow 1 right by the water. The cleaning staff was great ! I would stay here again. It had a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, so we were able to have breakfast and lunch at our room. Book the restaurants nearby ahead of time, it is not always possible to get reservations or get into some places."

"Location was amazing. So peaceful, quiet, and serene. Viewed sunset from deck chairs of our room. Small facility so beach walks not crowded with lots of tourists. Room a little small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious - all so fresh. Secured parking on site. Only suggestion is to make guard gate electronic so aren’t required to get out of car to enter code. "

"This is a beautiful property right on the beach. We loved our garden bungalow suite. It was clean, comfortable, and had a kitchenette so that we could cook. The breakfasts were served right at our terrace. The breakfasts do cost extra. They include croissants, bread, local jams, fresh fruit, yogurt, and bacon. It's a small, quiet resort that makes you feel like you've escaped the business of life. They have kayaks and snorkel gear you can use for free. The staff is very friendly and attentive....
